The last 3 times I ordered from here my food hasn't been exactly as ordered. I walked in to order take out a couple of weeks ago and specifically asked for my peppers and onions in my chicken fajitas to be cooked to a soft texture and yet when I got home and opened the box: I received crunchy, barely cooked onions and peppers. I also ordered an entree for my son, which by the menu description consisted of only grilled chicken, cheese, and rice. I specifically told the gentleman who was taking my order that my son was allergic to mushrooms, even though the menu said nothing about mushrooms in that particular entree, so that his food wasn't prepared with unwashed utensils or anything that had previously been used with mushrooms. After arriving home and opening his box, I was mortified. Inside the box was some concoction that I didn't even see on the menu at all: grilled chicken and rice (which was correct), but there were also mushrooms, big chunks of still crunchy seemingly barely cooked onions and peppers, and tomatoes! Thankfully the one thing this place always has that is perfection is their tortilla chips and salsa! This is the silver lining that I, thus far, have always been pleased with. No matter how messed up the rest of my overly expensive meal is, I can always fall back on their chips and salsa to not go hungry after ordering...

The waitress was fabulously kind and very patient. She took the order and the food arrived pretty quickly. The lighting is rather odd. It is very bright in the center and very dark at each booth. The watered down soap in the bathroom didn't sit well with me, though I let it go. Then, the food was just contents to put in my stomach; mostly over cooked rice, under done veggies, and the seasoning on the chicken was not mixed in well, so I feel the texture of the seasoning in burst. A bite or two tasted like dishwater. Runny thin cheese dip that never ever thicked like regular dip wasn't great either. I like to give feedback so people may try to do a little better. The dude at the cash register could care less. He basically shrugged and smirked when I mentioned the cheese dip. He even said something similar to, "We are the only one soooo...." Please, trust yourself to eat...
Read morePretty disappointed with this place. We usually get food from the Mexican restaurant in Castlewood, but decided to try here since it's closer. We ordered 6 beef hard shell tacos and some chips and salsa. I asked the man over the phone for my total and he said he didn't have it. Didn't need a name for my order either. Imagine my surprise when my boyfriend gets back from picking up the food and tells me it was $27!!! Looking at their menu 3 tacos are $6.50, and not seeing chips and salsa, but chips and cheese are $5 I believe. I was expecting MAYBE $22 max. Even more disappointed after looking at the food. The tacos only had lettuce and cheese, and were less than 30% filled. That being said, the flavor of the beef was GOOD, even if each taco only included maybe half of a tablespoon of meat. The salsa also tasted nice. However, we will just keep going to our staple Mexican place in Castlewood. Definitely not nearly $30...
