Not a good experience and not worth the price. We ordered the special which was cod fish and shrimp fries and drink for 9.99. A chicken tender dinner. A side of chicken tenders and a taco salad and a tea. 49.05 for it all. They charge .75 for a small cup of bbq sauce that on the menu was supposed to be included with the tenders. Charged for small packet of sour cream. Questioned the price because it didn't add up and of course it was an old menu not reflecting the new prices. Asked for ketchup and napkins they said they were in the bag had napkins but no ketchup. Forgot the drink that came with the special so had to go back for it. Opened my taco Salad and NO LETTUCE! More like nachos with maybe an ounce of ground beef with no seasoning, not the SALAD I wanted. Didn't give us ranch but didnt need it when i didnt even have lettuce. Then with the kids sprites were gross the machine is obviously out of syrup and needs to be changed. My unsweetened tea was just as sugary as a McDs tea. Horrible experience, I read at the pickup window, there is a 5 minute refund policy. At least they have an exit strategy for retaining your money. I drove 15 minutes away and realized that there was a baseball sized wad of Peanut butter in the middle of my shake. It was the nastiest ,most expensive milkshake that now is being cleaned up from my car, after the lid came off, because the dome lid with the hole on the top fits a plastic cup way better not a foam cup.The foam cup is way cheaper and for good reason,, out of 5.90 if there was 90 cents vested in that ,I'd say their 5 dollar gross profit pays the bills fairly well.I gave one star , because at least they could make change from a dollar. Drove from Richlands Va to Lebanon Va to a great old fashion drive in resturant and ice cream parlor. The Pioneer Restaurant is the place to go for a great cheeseburger ( larger than a normal burger) , order of onion rings and a great chocolate shake. The place was clean, staff friendly, and food was really good. I will be going back soon for a banana split because I was too full from this meal to add it.
