I took silverware in to find out the value and possibly trade for a couple of crosses for my daughters. The gentlemen by the name of Glenn looked at it and said he wouldn’t trust anything that didn’t say .925 on it. Even though it clearly says towel pat. old mirror on the backs as he was explaining why he wouldn’t be interested in them as he starts to bend my spoon back and forth then another lady begins to bend the spoon back and forth. Now this flatware has been in my wife’s family for nearly 80 years. The only reason we are considering getting ride of it is, 1 it’s too costly to complete the set, 2 we are not flashy people that would like to show off or display things of this nature, 3 it’s a lot of work to maintain. I feel like he should not damage things he has no intention of buying. At the very least I should of received a apology and I don’t think it would of been too much to expect him to try to fix the kinks in the spoon that he and staff caused but neither was offered I would not recommend doing business with this place.
