First time being here since new owners took over what used to be Stacy's Lounge. The inside looks completely different and is well decorated. I do like the big Leesburg sign on the west wall and like seeing the "Play like a Champion" sign still hangover the doorway from many years ago. Our server Shelby was very friendly and helpful. My wife had the pastrami Reuben along with Cole slaw for a side. She liked both of those very much. I had a cheeseburger with tomato and fries for a side. The The cheeseburger was cooked properly and the fries were good as well. We also shared the cheese sticks for an appetizer and we both enjoyed those too. I believe they're battered which we both prefer. The marinara sauce also was good and it sticks to the cheese sticks which is good. Some places you get a watery sauce and nothing adheres to the stick. All in all, a good experience and will come back. Second time back here I had the battered tenderloin and it is the absolute best tenderloin I've ever had. I've never had a battered tenderloin before, only breaded. I've tried a lot of breaded ones around the area and this is by far better than any of those. This is the only way I want a tenderloin now. So good. I hope this stays on the menu for a long time. Update on 8-9-25. Food is still so good here. I got the battered tenderloin again. Hard to pass up.

Great example of a small town restaurant. Small friendly and a great waitress. Food was very tasty. Chicken salad was fresh and greens were crispy and the chicken was very tasty. I had the fresh house made ranch dressing and it was rich and full of flavor without the thick normal ranch. The calzone was very tasty and a little more crunchy than I like but still good. Chicken nuggets were the typical chicken nuggets with bbq sauce. We came on a Tuesday for the one item that is only offered ( my understanding ) on on this day. We got the “giant” mozzarella sticks and they were wonderful for those who like this item. The marinara sauce was delicious. The only issue I had was the wooden chairs. The chairs were very uncomfortable for me.

First in for drinks, ended up with a pizza and some fun conversation with the waitress. The pizza was delicious, I am not a pizza person, but can appreciate when some fresh basil is put on top of crispy Pepperonis on a pizza. The Chocolate Mousse cake/pie was very creamy, expecting it to be richer I was delighted to find it wasn't! Just the right amount of sweet. Decor was well done with a comforting atmosphere to go with it. Appreciate the staff putting up with the antics going on at our table. Thanks for the stick figure drawing!

Have you lost your mind? Posting my phone number and email address? You need to take that down ASAP or you will hear from my attorney! You and your husband have zero class by doing this. Plus you state multiple excuses for your restaurant and your husband’s terrible behavior then you close by stating there are no excuses. Absolutely pitiful! Your lack of professionalism is very glowing…..the both of you. You need to edit your reply first thing tomorrow Saturday morning June 29th or Monday I will seek action. And, I will publicly announce your lack of professional behavior and terrible customer service in multiple media outlets: newspaper, radio and Fort Wayne and South Bend television. This place Steuby’s-under new ownership is terrible now since it was Stacy’s. I had to call the owners insurance office to make a reservation and the owner…she was very pleasant and nice. She took the reservation and upon our arrival we had a great high top. But our experience at the restaurant was not good. The food was not even warm. The wait for our food and drinks was much too long. Realizing it was a brand new opening I decided to make another reservation for our second visit (a birthday celebration) and give them another good chance. They didn’t have a phone yet so on a Thursday I decided to stop by the restaurant at lunch time which opens at 11 am to set up a reservation. I arrived at 1130 and the lights were on but the door was locked. I then went to their insurance office in town at 1135 and that office was closed So I called the office later in the afternoon to make a reservation. I was given a phone number and an email address to make the reservation. The phone voice mail was on a continuous loop so I had to use email. Finally able to leave a email message for my reservation. I received confirmation later that evening. Upon our arrival the hostess first stated we didn’t have one and said we would have to wait. The place was packed and with diners mostly all just starting with drinks and or appetizers. I calmly assured her we had a confirmed reservation and showed her my confirmation on my phone. She finally found it on her iPad but our table would not be ready for at least a half an hour. And, she was not apologetic. Kind of snarky. We left and had a great dinner at Texas Roadhouse. I called their insurance office (the restaurant did not have a direct phone yet) later next week and talked to one of the owners. He was very cocky and abrasive. I explained I knew this was a new opening for them and wanted to give them constructive criticism but he was not receptive and then blamed me for being loud at the hostess that evening which was entirely untrue (my party confirmed this). He was very combative and accusatory. I then stated maybe we’ll come back-if and when your restaurant gets its act together. He became loud, rude and obnoxious. I then hung up the phone. I discussed this matter with many local residents and they stated to me hearing and experiencing of similar complaints. Stacy’s was ALWAYS pleasant, fun and friendly and I never had an issue dining there for over 40 years. Always a wonderful experience. Yes Stacy’s ran its course and it was time but Steuby’s…oh man. Steubys’s- a terrible experience and I’ve informed multiple...

Was there many years ago under the old ownership. Was not impressed then. The weather was gorgeous so we went for a drive and drove to Leesburg and decided to try them. Very impressed! Place is brightened up and decorated well. Little things that caught my attention was the heavier flatware they use and a napkin that's a napkin. Came in at 4:30 before the rush. By 6:00 when we left they were fully packed out with people waiting. I think the service was a little bit off because of the crowd but all the staff worked to keep the food and drink coming out and the tables cleared for new customers. Bartender , the daughter of the owner , was experienced and answered questions I had regarding my drink. We had the end cut prime rib special and burnt end mac and cheese . We strongly recommend and we...
