The Peach Cobbler with ice cream was absolutely fantastic! The hospitality was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

While we were waiting for our dessert, the owner surprised us by bringing out fresh pork butts. He placed the pan on the counter, greeted us with a smile, and thoughtfully set out three forks for my wife, my daughter, and me. He mentioned that the pork had been slow-cooked for six hours and encouraged us to cut a generous piece and take a bite.

You really aught to road trip to this joint. Firstly, It's an old prefab diner from the 1950's. So that in itself is pretty cool. Second the place has been added on to to make plenty of sit down space too. But really the food was really good and the hospitality was great. I stopped in alone today a.d had a really pleasant time here. This is a short drive from Kansas City a d a great road trip spot. Seriously. We rolled in hungry and tired yesterday afternoon. We got a fantastic lunch, and let me tell you, save room for their cobbler! They are really catering to the bicycle community. They had electric, so I could change my e-bike, and a compressor set up for pumping up tires.
