Woodstone Country Club and Lodge — Restaurant in Lehigh Township

Woodstone was the perfect wedding venue!! From the moment we visited, we knew we wanted to choose Woodstone. The staff are exceptional people. Connie was so welcoming, and helped us feel assured from the start that everything needed for our wedding day would be covered, and that we would have all of the support we needed. Connie, Jessica, our Maitre'd, Alex and all of the staff (including chef, servers, bartenders, lodging and more) at Woodstone were so on top of everything - they helped all of the work leading up to the wedding day and our wedding day itself go seamlessly! I was not stressed at all knowing that I had the support of such an amazing team. They seriously handled everything - the needed coordination leading up to the wedding (meetings, filling out forms that helped identify everything needed, etc), the organization of the reception area (they sent us a layout ahead of time), set up and decoration of the reception area (and they helped provided many needed items, such as the card box, table numbers, centerpieces, Mr & Mrs sign for the sweetheart table, etc), food (the tasting for dinner was amazing - it was so hard to choose), bar, coordination with all of the vendors that we chose, making sure our getting ready rooms were taken care of and prepared, our rooms (the bridal suite was lovely and our friends and family enjoyed staying over onsite - another huge plus!) - everything you could think of and more! I loved the packages and customizations that Woodstone offered - we LOVED having a mac n cheese bar, smores bar, and fireworks at our wedding (everyone was wow’ed)! I absolutely adored the getting ready rooms, and loved having a cookie platter and mimosas ready for the morning! I loved that we were able to have an afterparty at the bar as well to keep the party going!! I also really appreciated how they worked with us to add important customizations that we wanted to our day. I was able to bring in many materials that I wanted (such as a wedding sign, materials for the centerpieces, signs for our signature drinks, polaroid cameras, etc). We were able to have a TV at the reception to show photos throughout the night, and then we were able to move the TV to the afterparty to play games! The food was delicious, and the bar was amazing (and Alex made sure we had our signature drinks all night)! Plus, the venue itself is beautiful!!! There were so many beautiful picture spots, including the waterfall, the tree, and the beautiful landscaping and stones. Finally, I again want to praise how amazing everyone at Woodstone was. Everyone was so prepared and organized and helped make wedding planning so much less stressful and helped the day run so smoothly. We really couldn’t appreciate more how well staff knew what we needed and how welcoming and accommodating everyone was. We are posting this review almost 4 days after sending it to 3 directors at Woodstone. Not one of them has responded to our email. This affirms our conclusion that they are only interested in the money they collect and not the satisfaction of their guests.

Before our country went into lockdown from COVID 19, we signed a contract with Woodstone Country Club to provide our daughter’s wedding reception. A while later, we decided to rent all the rooms at the lodge based upon the amenities shown to us. We decided to have a small after party. Both facilities are beautiful and provide amazingly decorated decks which include gas fire pits. The wedding venue is gorgeous. The staff was wonderful, and the food was superb! However, we feel that once we paid for the amenities at the lodge, Woodstone no longer felt obligated to fulfill their responsibilities. The pizza was delivered to the lodge before the reception was even over. It was cold by the time the guests arrived. We also ordered a “Cubed Cheese and Fruit Tray”. It was described as being garnished with strawberries and grapes. There were no strawberries and maybe a handful of grapes as seen in our photographs. The beverages did not come for some time. Once they arrived, the water was not chilled. Guests had to go to the basement to retrieve ice for their drinks. For the cost of the rooms, food, and beverages plus the $1,000 fee to use the Common Areas, we were very disappointed in the experience. We were looking forward to the ambiance of the gas fire pits for our guests. Unfortunately, not one of them could be lit. Two of the three did not even have propane tanks. The young men working the front desk found tanks, but the canisters must have been empty. None of the fire pits could be lit for our event. When it was mentioned the next day, we received an insincere, “Oh, I’m sorry.” Since there are only 19 rooms at the lodge, we expected them to be immaculate. This was not the case. My husband and I were married on 3/25/2022 at Woodstone and had the most flawless and perfect day. Not only the wedding day but the whole weekend was spectacular thanks to the amazing staff at Woodstone. We got so many complements from our guests on not only how beautiful the venue was but how wonderful the staff was. We did not have to worry about a thing and the day ran itself.

We went through several coordinators during our planning process before we got Tiffany. But boy did we luck out! Tiffany was so kind, always prepared and went above the call of duty multiple times. She made the final decisions and little details a breeze! The day of our wedding, she helped ensure our day flowed smoothly and that we always had what we needed.

Tiffany helped ensure our rehearsal was easy and efficient and when we went to dinner, I was once again blow away by the beauty of the Emerald room. Dinner was delicious and one of the best decisions we made to do everything right at the venue. We were able to enjoy our family and bridal party while everything else was taken care of.

The day of the wedding, we did not need to want or ask for anything. Our mater’d (I wish I remembered her name!) was always 10 steps ahead of us, always anticipating what was going to be next or what we may need. I truly had the most relaxing and enjoyable day.

The staff at the lodge was so accommodating to all of our guests and were always willing to make a change to room assignments during the planning/booking process. Everyone loved their room and the fun themes.

My final thought is that the little details matter. My husband and I always had a drink in our hand, were fed first, had all of our important items placed in our room after the ceremony/reception, left over cake wrapped up for us, and 2 additional dinners placed in our room fridge. What was the most special however, was the care put into the day and the congratulatory note signed by all of the staff. Woodstone truly care about their clients and it shines through in all they do.
