Chele's Place — Restaurant in Lehman Township

I wanted to like this place so much especially based on reviews. Unfortunately the service was extremely slow and we decided to sit inside since dining tables are an option. We were the only customers.. we ordered 2 trays of pizza and burger & Italian sub. Sub roll was dry and a mess, burger was bland. I felt they were lacking in quality for the prices they charge. The pizza we picked was the pickle one and the traditional red sauce and cheese. It was mediocre at best and leans more towards an old forge style. I wouldn't rank it highly in a category of fried pizza places in NEPA.

Hopefully next time we visit things will...

The aroma was excellent, the service was good and the atmosphere was okay for a small location. There ended the positives of the experience. The pizza dough was leathery, the sauce was not anything to brag about. We did not finish one piece before we dumped the whole pizza.

We Stopped at Cheles Place randomly on pur way home from Moon Lake. I just Google 'food near me' , as I was unfamiliar with the area...
