After trying many pizzerias over the years, I enjoyed the best pizza I can remember since my childhood. It reminded me of boardwalk pizza in NJ growing up. The pizza was made fast and fresh, super hot, thin crust, and the cheese melted perfectly over the sauce. You know it's right when there's lots of grease on the plate the way pizza should be. The steak sandwich was great too with quality ingredients. The owner is hilarious and will greet you with his big personality. "Life is good!" If you miss how pizza used to be served while watching a game, this is your place.

Pasta & wings were great. However, don't get the Hot Chicken Cutlet sub! It is just 2 chicken fingers on a sub roll. It is false advertising, I was not told they were out or there would be substitutions. Disappointing when you are expecting a nice fried cutlet (my favorite), not 2 losey fingers. All bread & not much meat. Not what I ordered.

Excellent pizza, great garlic parmesan wings, delicious cannolis, garlic knots are as good as they get. Their chicken parmesan sandwiches need work though, tasty but far too little chicken in it. Great spot, super convenient if you live in Saw Creek. I am always greeted happily when I come in. I am pretty sure that the online menu is outdated.

I can't tell you how many times I've had a problem with this place. The first go around was when I've asked for delivery and they tell me they do and after I've ordered and paid they told me that the delivery man wasn't there so I had to pick it up. Now that was a few years ago so I got over it and continued just I made sure to pick it up. Second time was the off occasion I had someone visiting so I ordered for delivery. The food took close to two hours (they are less than 10 mins away from me) granted I said nothing. That is until I opened the box and found the pizza folded in on itself, no cheese except the cheese on the top side of the box. Only thing I can think of was the driver turned it upside down or drove like a maniac up the mountain. I called explaining and he said because it was so close to closing they can't do anything about it but come in any other time and they'll give me something on the house. I said that's nice but no I don't think I want to, can I just have a refund. He said no because he was closing out the register. After going back and forth I was furious and had my bank handle it. I made sure I'd never go back, fast forward another year and someone in my family decided to stop for pizza and figured nothing could go wrong this time cuz she was there in person. Alas no, they got the order extremely wrong she inquired and tried to figure out where the miscommunication came in. The owner, same guy I spoke to who refused 5o give me a refund, refused to make the order right. The other worker said he'd make another but the owner said no. This is the very last damn time I try with this place. I am very simple, mistakes and accidents happen but I also believe in good business. Had they made the other two situations right, I would have continued my patronage but the sheer fact of poor customer service they have for loyal customers has pissed me off. This is not the right way to handle a honest business that basically works on word of mouth. There are plenty of other pizzeria's that are better but their location helps them out. But to be honest, to save from aggravation, I will gladly drive the extra 30 mins to town to avoid it. And I'm sure others would be there right...

Walk in and am greeted with a very happy "hey my friend", as i had experienced the last few infrequent times I stopped in. I was heading to my 78 yr mothers place to stain the side deck. I figured I would stop in, order a to go meal and be on my way. I saw a dish priced at 9.50 and if I added some things bumped it to 12 and change. When my order is ready he says 16 dollars my Friend! I say what about the 12 something printed on the menu I ordered from? He went from being my friend to basically banning me from his restaurant. It is unfortunate, as I feel he could use all the business he can get... that said they do make a decent pizza. Anyway, I cannot tolerate business owners showing one price and charging another and then trying to make me feel bad about it. I said I didnt want it and that's when he asked what I wanted to pay.... I said the price on the menu. I had a 50 dollar bill and he gives me 34 dollars back so basically charging me what he wanted. He tried to justify that his prices go up all the time and he had a sign that was taped to his front counter saying that. Two issues with this, 1 it was hip high, so I did not even see it, 2 how am I suppose to know the prices printed aren't already increased? Good pizza does not outweigh bad customer service. He did me a favor as I have like 15 resturants I havent tried while on my way up. Im sure they will be genuinely happy for my business as long as the charge whats on their menu. Good luck Pizza Palace!

Just finished the pasta with oil and feel sick. Gonna be a...

The menu price of the food was below average, yet I still feel absolutely cheated of my hard earned money. Why? Because they overcharged us $12 for our purchase. The check wasn’t itemized, and did not mention the delivery fee, or anything of importance; only the total amount was listed. The food was clearly made with cheap ingredients, tasted about as good as the tooth pulp from my root canal, and the portion size was decent at best. My garbage disposal happily gobbled up my leftovers (which was half of my order, I only ate enough to keep me filled, which I hardly do). The delivery took an hour and fifteen minutes when they said it would only take fourty-five. Everything considered, I can say with utmost confidence that the five star reviews for Pizza Palace Pizza & Grill (Stroudsburg PA location) are clearly fake. Read the negative reviews if you...
