food was greasy and bland. I spent $75 tonight on take out and highly disappointed given the great reviews this place had. The sweet and sour chicken was the most decent thing we got out of 5 entrees, a soup, and three appetizers. The hot and sour soup tasted like chemicals and didn’t make it past the first bite, and the wonton strips were stale. Hunan chicken was bland, vegetables cooked great but for a spicy dish there was zero spice and wasn’t very good. Vegetable mei fun was decent but had an overwhelming fishy taste. Chicken with curry sauce again no spice and very bland. Egg/spring rolls/ cream cheese wonton were super greasy and no flavor at all. Beef lo mein, wasn’t even sure if that was beef or not, noodles were overcooked and mushy. White rice was good at least. Over all the meal left a bad taste in our mouths, I won’t order here again. Six happiness and Chopstix so far have had the best Asian American food in Leland/wilmington. Save your time, money, and stomach, go elsewhere. Customer service was pleasant though. All my years of working with pan- Asian food this was really disappointing given the...
Read moreLong story short: DON'T GO HERE! After a few years in the area we decided to give this place a try based on the high reviews. Honestly, I'm now so confused about how those high marks were ever received. We ordered 4 combination dinners with fried rice. The fried rice tasted exactly like I opened a box of Goya Spanish yellow rice and added some frozen veggies to it. The flavor, look nor texture was of Chinese takeout fried rice. The egg rolls were so greasy, and that's coming from a NY'er who loves a good greasy egg roll - but, not one that seems like it has been sitting, soaking in it for a day. It was absolutely mushy. The main entrees were unfortunately no better. The General Tso's Chicken tasted like it had been made the day before and reheated, and was terribly chewy. The chicken and broccoli was the worst I've had, and the sweet and sour chicken was basic - but it would take a lot to mess that up. I was trying to have a fun and easy treat for the family and ended up paying for the dinner, still had to cook dinner because no one could eat it, and felt completely frustra byted and...
Read moreI ordered a Pu Pu platter and that's just what it was. Everything was over Fried and absorbed in grease. The napkin on bottom of my tray was stained yellow in grease. The shrimp toast was undercooked like raw pizza dough with one half of a processed jumbo shrimp split in half again inside of raw toast. The ribs were just fat no meat and tough like leather. The chicken and eggroll had mild flavor but was over fried and greasy. I couldn't even identify the meat inside the fried dumplings. For the price of $10.65 I would have never given that meal tray to anyone in that condition. I have eaten here in the past and food was good and fresh. I don't know what's going on but "Get it together...
