My review on Monday, April 15th, 2024

*The restaurant and bathroom walls & floors were dirty which doesn't make for a good first impression the outdoor temperature was 84° and unfortunately there was no air conditioning inside the restaurant which made it very uncomfortable The music was so loud I couldn't carry on a conversation with the person sitting next to me I don't speak Spanish, they don't speak English- except for the girl at the cash register who I used as my translator the menu was written in one word titles with no description of the meals, and as I said, I don't speak Spanish so I had no idea what each meal was (Ex: Chilaquiles, Flautas, Pastor) if I had more time I would have used the internet to help me figure out what the meals were this is a rather odd observation, but there was not a salt or pepper shaker in sight. On the other hand, a variety of sauces was set on the table

The one thing on the menu I could read without translation was a Taco Salad 🥙 (with beef), so that is what I got. The only redeeming value is that the food was very, very (very) good!

I really wanted to give this restaurant a better review and if it were based on food alone I would give it five (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) stars but I'm just being truthful and honest here, so I had to give it only two (⭐⭐) stars. I'm sorry, Taqueria...

I've came to this restaurant a few times once the lady that took my order gave me attitude for no reason I really think there racist towards American Indian woman never said anything about the young ladies attitude came back today a different girl was there that's always been nice well she got my order wrong and thought I was going to pay more money and didn't give me a receipt but my phone sends what I spent to my notifications so a other young lady comes from kitchen saying just give her money back told me not to come back said I always do this and when I tell you I've never said anything to these people about messing up my order or anything for that matter she just lied tried to embarrasse me in front of customers instead of fixing my order I wasn't even making a big deal out of it I have a right to say my order isn't right not to mention my sick mother was on the phone while I ordered I definitely will be reporting this hope yall have better experience than what happen to me today oh and if your a man ordering there all nice and smiling but I guess everyone wasn't...

This is a real hidden gem for Leland. They opened up recently and if you haven't been there, you should go try them out. They have my support. The menu is more similar to a taco truck than a Mexican restaurant. It's stuff like burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and other common a la carte items. You pick that, and then you pick which meat you want in it. All that I've had so far has been the quesadillas. I've had the beef, the tripa, and the beef tongue if I remember right. They were all very good.

Edit: Since writing this review, I've had their tacos too. My favorite is the chorizo. They're really good too. They do have some shaded picnic tables under a carport. Grabbing some Mexican, getting a soda from the neighboring gas station, and pigging out under that carport has been a fun way for my fiance and I to spend our Saturdays when it's...

My parents live up the road from this tiny, unassuming Mexican takeout place and mentioned how good it was so I stopped by to pick up some lunch for us to see for myself. It was fantastic. Delicious, authentic, and made to order. I got tacos al pastor (pork), a regular size chorizo burrito (which was huge; you could easily share this between two people), and one churro with dulce de leche (again, totally shareable). Everything was delicious, well-made with fresh ingredients. They have picnic tables outside of you want to stay to eat, but everything is packed (very well) in to-go containers for easy takeaway. Definitely recommend checking them out.

Tucked away in the Food Lion shopping center is a small restaurant we will continue visiting. Last week I had Chori Pollo. This week Enchiladas Verdes. Both were delicious. Better than that, they tasted like homemade food with no negative restaurant after effects I sometime experience. Last week we ordered guacamole and chips. They make it fresh! The staff are friendly and efficient. They even have a small bar.

What a great little spot just outside of Leland on Lanvale Rd! Everything I have eaten here has been excellent! Pulled pork tacos with rice and beans is my go to but tried the fried chicken tacos today and they are equal if not better! Most meals about $10 and more than worth it!
