Just went in for a breakfast burrito, asked for no salsa in my burrito because I have really bad stomach issues and the salsa irritates it. Got home, bit into my burrito and got a mouth full of red salsa. This is not the first time it’s happened and I’ve tried to be more specific with my orders to ensure I am clearly letting them know I would like no salsa in my food. My receipt shows I asked for no salsa. I called them to let them know to be careful in the future because this can really make people sick and the lady passed me off to someone else without letting me know and he didn’t even know why the phone got handed to him. He asked me what I needed and I explained to him the situation and he just kept saying oh, oh. I let him know I didn’t want the burrito remade or anything because I personally will not eat there again but that they need to be more mindful. I used to love going here back when they were in the truck. My daughter now loves them. However, today the lady that was working the register needs to take a nap. I ordered 2 burritos and a taco salad. She handed me the bag and there was no salsa. I asked for both green and red and extra lemon. She provided 1 of each salsa, u then asked for an added of each and she gave 1 red I then asked for another green....she responded by rolling her eyes muttering something under her breath and turned to say the salsas were extra. I advised no problem and she responded with no its fine just take it and called the next customer. My kid was watching me so I kept it classy and said she was rude and walked away. Always amazing food!! I've gone to this place since 2006, when it was just a taco truck on the corner.. with 1 or 2 people working and by far the best burritos in town!! About 16 years later, and it does not disappoint at all, the menu has expanded to offer more than just the basics, and I still feels like the owner takes alot of pride in his product. I have told everyone I know, that might travel down the 41 past Bush Street, to stop by and try it, grab a asada burrito, or any of the breakfast burritos, even the menudo is great!!
