El Jardín Mexican Restaurant #3 — Restaurant in Lewisburg

With 10+ other Mexican restaurants in Lewisburg, El Jardin BY FAR is our favorite and stands out with the best service, best food and best prices! Since the pandemic, El Jardin rose to the occasion and has a fast driver thru option. I call and place my order and it’s ALWAYS done in 10 mins! I live close and get there about that time and my food is always hot and ready! The food is always delicious! When they opened their doors for the sit in option, my husband and I decided to make this our little “getaway.” We’ll sit at the bar and have a drink or two with some appetizers, and the owner and server are always friendly! We like to get the Guacamole Casero, and it’s delicious (my husband doesn’t like avocados but he loves this!) I’ve tried many different things off the menu and have yet to be disappointed! The Taquitos Mexicanos, El Trio Especial and Mexican-style tacos are some of my favorites! I’ve even gotten my husband to change his “I only get the chicken chimichanga” menu to now trying new things. His current favorite is the El Trio Especial. On a personal occasion, my daughter and I were biking and she got overheated on our way back home, and because we didn’t think about it we forgot our water. We were just across from El Jardin but they weren’t open for another 15 mins. I thought I’d try my luck anyways and what have you, the door was open! When I got inside I told them what happened, and asked for a cup of ice water and the staff who waited on me were friendly and offered me two cups of ice water at no charge and asked if we were “okay.” I appreciated that so much. I can’t say enough good things about them! We frequent El Jardin’s at least once a week, and I have no issues spending my hard earned money here. They deserve the good review! Tonight I came to Lewisburg to see family for the first time in a long while and we decided to go to a family dinner at this restaurant. I was not sure what to expect because good mexican is a bit harder to find in the south and east coast. Its usually tex mex or Americana. There was some american options though which was great for the kiddo. I will be the first to say that I was completely blown away with the flavors, portions, quality and service that we received tonight. It was all very authentic and absolutely outstanding. This was my first time trying a restaurant in Lewisburg. It’s a smaller place where everyone seems to know everyone. We got an amazing server, Israel, who greeted us quickly and made us feel welcome. He was able to joke with us throughout the dinner while checking to make sure everything was good! We got Jim’s quesadilla and the molcajete special. Both were very good! After dinner, my boyfriend had forgot his card on the table and our server ran outside to return it to us.
