I've been trying to make it to this place for years!! While the daily closing time is listed as 3:00 p.m., the store actually closes when they sell out of donuts. And as popular as this spot is, they sell out well before 3:00 every single day! So on several occasions over the past five years, I've driven an hour down to Lewisburg at 1:00 or 2:00, only to find a closed store at the end of a fruitless trip. Finally, I made the pilgrimage to the Lewisburg Donut Shop on a weekday morning and found it open! Hallelujah! And indeed, the donuts did not disappoint. The apple fritter is among the best I've had, almost as good as Fox's in Green Hills. But that maple with a soft, yeasty, melt-in-your-mouth dough is astounding! I can understand the lofty ratings now!

They have awesome donuts, pastries, muffins, and even offer breakfast foods like made from scratch biscuits with sausage, bacon, or eggs. There are croissants with the same sausage, bacon, eggs, or all available, and this wonderful little thing called a kolache! They offer fried rice, and other Cambodian dishes (off menu) for lunch as well, which is not what you would expect, but most definitely what you should order. We eat there regularly and have NEVER had a bad experience, but are always warmly welcomed. Eat there. You won’t regret it!

What has happened to the biscuits at Lewisburg Donut Shop over the past couple months? We moved to the area almost a year ago and believed they had the best biscuits in the south but 2 of the last 3 we have gotten were not good and the one we bought this morning was absolutely inedible. The donuts and fritters are still amazing but the biscuits, sadly are not homemade anymore and not good.

A Culinary Delight: Fusion Flavors at Lewisburg Donuts

Review:

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Lewisburg Donuts is a local treasure that masterfully blends homemade donuts with the rich flavors of Vietnamese cuisine. From the moment you step in, the aroma of freshly baked delights welcomes you.

The homemade donuts are a revelation – a perfect balance of crispy and fluffy with flavors ranging from classic glazed to inventive cinnamon roll donut that is as big as a basketball. Each bite is a testament to the passion and care put into crafting these sweet treats.

What sets this family-owned gem apart is the unexpected twist of Vietnamese specialties. The pho is a culinary journey in a bowl, with a rich and aromatic broth that transports you to the streets of Hanoi. The chicken fried rice is equally impressive, boasting a perfect wok hei and a harmonious blend of flavors.

Beyond the exceptional food, the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the family adds an extra layer of charm. Their dedication to their craft is palpable, making the experience at Lewisburg Donuts more than just a meal – it's a delightful escape.

In conclusion, Lewisburg Donuts is a must-visit for those seeking a fusion of sweet and savory flavors. With its friendly ambiance and exceptional offerings, this local spot is a culinary delight that deserves all the accolades it receives. Treat yourself to a taste sensation that goes beyond...

If you ever happen to be able to explore Middle Tennessee, and you happen to be initially visiting the South side of Nashville, take us 431 South out of Nashville, or take Interstate 65 South out of Nashville, and follow the roads that take you to Lewisburg Tennessee. I believe the exits going into Lewisburg is Exit 37. A small mom-and-pop shop located in a small industrial town in the more Western half of Middle Tennessee. While the town does have its black eyes thanks to some of the statistics, the shop and the town are quaint and worth visiting. The donuts are good and they offer service that sadly too many other places that claim to provide customer service that happened to sell Donuts, don't. The husband and wife actually provide the customer service, and the prices are very reasonable. The donuts...
