Sarah's Pizza Lewisburg — Restaurant in Lewisburg

We have ordered delivery from Sarah’s for a while and never had any issues until today. Normally their food is good and I wouldn’t dare say a bad thing about them, but for some reason today I found a staple inside a small chef salad that I was in the process of eating. This is serious! If you swallow something like that with those little prongs fully exposed like this one was it could really mess up your day or life. Thank God my four-year-old son wasn’t eating the salad and it was me because I caught it before putting it in my mouth. This is absolutely inexcusable and when I spoke to them on the phone, they partially laughed it off and explain to me that they wouldn’t use the stapler around the salads anymore. You have got to be kidding me. It was explained that this has never happened before as if she would tell me If it had and they offered to make me a new salad. Why would I want a new salad that could potentially have another staple in it? I know that this is a small business and it’s one of the very few ones that people in Lewisburg have but you guys are going to...

We order from Sarah’s at least once a month if not more. Usually a large or extra large pizza, cheese sticks and bread sticks, and SOMETIMES stuff like calzones, sandwiches, mini corn dogs…

The pizza is great. The cheese sticks are okay. The breadsticks would be better if they didn’t ignore my request for lite bake every time I make it, including asking over the phone when I ordered last month. I think their biggest and most unfortunate issue is with the online ordering system and how they operate their phones. I just ordered food, online. I forgot to add a specific instruction, so I’ve been trying to call, trying to find a place on the website to get in touch, NOTHING. I have worked in food service, and I totally understand taking the phone off the hook when the online orders pile up, but come on. There’s zero way for anyone to reach you about their order. We've lived in Castine for about a month and have ordered from Sarah's several times. It has always arrived sooner than expected and the food has always been excellent, until tonight. We hadn't ordered any pizza besides cheese pizza for our daughter, but my husband and I decided to get some for ourselves. It was supposed to arrive at approx 7:55. At 8:15 I called because it hadn't arrived yet and the young man told me it should arrive any minute. It finally arrived at 8:25, so 30 minutes after it was supposed to.
