I love Tudors and frequent the establishment anytime I travel the WV area.. I came in and took pictures for this review and no one said anything to me at 1st. Then after completing my order the cashier stepped back to the counter to make my coffee. That's when the whispers started. It was like a 2 or 3 team huddle, apparently to discuss my picture taking for this review. The cashier then stepped forward to hand me my coffee. When still standing there the cashier says NEXT LOUDLY, so I stepped to the side to wait on my order. However instead of taking the next order. The Cashier clears her throat and says extremely loud. Attention It is against Company policy to take pictures, and then stated that it was CLEARLY POSTED (NOT) and to Please refrain from taking pictures @ Tutors. I really felt like it would have been more appropriate for her to just say Excuse me ma'am and address me directly instead of an indirect announcement to a room full of customers. It was quite rude and disturbing. Needless to say, there was no such posted sign of stating no picture taking allowed. In addition to no sign stating that there are multiple pictures on Google reviews from customers and employees posing together, posing for customers and everything. So I am just guessing on certain TYPES of individuals are allowed to take pictures. Check out the types of individuals in the other posted reviews and pictures if you're confused about...
Read moreWe are not from the area, and when we found out, we would be close to a tutors location. We were excited. The last time we were able to enjoy your restaurant we had the blackberry biscuits and they were delightful so they were on our mind and we were disappointing to find they were not available. But since my husband needed a snack. He ordered beans and cornbread, and we travel down the road. When we found a pretty place to stop, he started to enjoy his beans and found he wasn’t even given a spoon or napkins. Might be a small thing, but as we were traveling, it was kind of big to us. We did have a leftover fork in the car and he made do with that, but the beans were mostly water, had very little flavor, and the cornbread was hard. Was it our mistake for ordering cornbread from a biscuit Company? Maybe. But if you also include the almost 30 minutes we had to wait in the drive-through, This was overall a terrible experience, and next time we travel through the area, I won’t be so excited to...
Read moreWe were passing through traveling home to KY when we ate here. This restaurant was one of the few in the area and had good reviews so we decided to stop. We went to sit down and literally EVERY table was dirty with dishes and leftover food. We had to ask an employee to come clean a table and she seemed annoyed (even though multiple employees were standing around and one was eating BEHIND the counter.) When we finally got our food, about 15 minutes later, it was almost inedible. The eggs were not cooked as ordered, the gravy was a strange color, and the potatoes and biscuits tasted so fake. The whole restaurant smelled of burnt coffee, the bathrooms were gross, and even though our table had been cleaned off, it was sticky. This really was just a horrible experience. We left there still hungry and planning to stop at another restaurant. Save yourself some time and money and do...
