Hot Shots Espresso, Cafe — Restaurant in Lewiston

I've had 100'$ of coffee's at mostly the 2 in the orchards. Up until the last 5-6 months it's been great. I had a meeting, wich was at 2:00pm. One car before me, seemed to take a bit longer than normal. I get to the window, order, use my free one, take my cup, and leave $1.00 as I always do. Drive down thain, and OMG, I like hot!!!! This was hottest drink I've, well u get the point. Not sure why but the white coffee with white chocolate sauce and hot water can not taste consistent. Some with lots of nutty flavor, some taste like water. Yuck, yuck So I attend meeting, pull up at the window and simply ask if they forgot flavor. So there is silence, then , like a bulldog jumps out accusing me of always trying to get a free coffee, and no more!!!!! She yelled. Hold on, nobody gives me free coffee ,and I have paid for quite a few I dumped. I was told by one of the girls, they r new, still learning, and it's a training issue. And I was not the only one who wasn't happy. I was polite, still gave a $1.00 tip and , well having patients while the one that makes the best is showing and telling them the right way. The bulldog claims they all know how to make coffees, all the same!!!!!! Keep telling yourself that! Must not have read the same reveiws. It's OK, people make mistakes, or make 4 shots running water through the same grounds twice. Like in my case, wich I paid for 4 shots. Hello, wow, ur employee told another employee that's how she was trained!!! I get free coffee??? Better check urself. Wonder how many people people pay for 4...

I'm really sad to have to leave this review. However I just tried Hotshots Cafe for the first time, and sadly I was so disappointed. After waiting for the guy at the counter to put his cell phone down my wife and I both ordered salads to go after hearing how great their salads were. Mine came first to the window and driving separately I just grabbed it and headed home only to discover it was made wrong. Wrong toppings and dressing (my fault for not checking before I left) however during this time my wife waited for a while, before having to ask where hers was to which the girl making the salad all but admitted to forgetting it. Once it was made it was wrong and when asked to remake it the girl developed some attitude with her. Once she was on the road home it dawned on her she didn't check it the second time pulled over, and opened it up and wouldn't you know it was still wrong. Living 20+ miles out of town we just delt with it this time but I'm not sure if I'd ever recommend getting a salad from there after this experience...

The baristas in the drive thru during the week are fabulous! Hot coffee is hot, they know how to make change, and they listen. This is at the coffee shop. Today, Mar 23, I was told the size of hot coffee I requested wasn't done, hmm. Sign says it is and we've gotten it before. I didn't correct her . I told the young lady when I paid I'd give her the 3 cents rather than get back a fist full of change. She thought I said keep the change and when I, nicely, corrected her she didn't know what to do and had to ask for help and then shorted me a dollar. This is not the first time experiencing this on a weekend. I make sure I always count my change now. Love the coffee just not the...
