Zip's Drive In — Restaurant in Lewiston

We have tried 3 times because I have always liked zips in Spokane WA. Unfortunately I have been very disappointed at this specific zips. The first trip we ordered 2 5 piece fish n chips and a cheeseburger with a bucket of tots. We did not get either fish basket. I called and we were told we would be given a fish meal if we came back. I was unable to do that due to unforseen car troubles on my way home. The man on the phone said he was writing me down in the book and they would give me the fish meals next time I came down. So trip 2 to get the fish baskets we didn't last time. Not only was it not written in the book, we originally ordered a 5 piece and they asked but we received 3 piece meals. I had already paid for the 5 piece meals but never did get what I paid for. Trip 3 I ordered a bag of burgers and tots. Now this is 5 burgers or 4 papa joes we got the papas and 1 reg cheeseburger separate from the bag. We were charged way more than usual. We have had tots over fries many time at other zips but at this zips it was not allowed. The girl at the window did not say it wasn't allowed or say it was an upcharge or anything. When we questioned the high price we were told that everything was rang up individually since we ordered tots instead if fries. The bill was a lot more than expected. Then we had asked for tartar and fry sauce and there were no sauce or napkins at all. I am highly disappointed and...

I come to this location maybe once or twice a month on my lunch break at work... It's usually a great experience!

This time I think the owner was working the window? Idk she was wearing a massive wedding ring that nobody working actual food service would be wearing in a kitchen lol, and she was someone I've never seen before so maybe she was just new(only guessing owner because people with diamond rings that big don't usually need to be working a fast food window haha,) ... Usually when I get a large combo they'll give me 3 or 4 sides of fry/tartar sauce, this time I got just one side which isnt even close to enough sauce even if you barely dip the fries lol. Also the drink was about 90% ice, which is kinda the bigger issue with how much we're charged for maybe 10 cents worth of soft drink syrup...

Like I said usually it's an amazing, consistent experience... No clue what happened here, it's my lunch break so I don't necessarily have time to circle back, and didn't notice either of these two issues until I was already back at work.

Prices are ridiculous, cost $38.00 for 2 big zippers 2 small smiley fries things and 2 soft drinks. The fries were cold and the ice on the drinks was melted and there's WAY to much lettuce on the burgers. Back off on the lettuce and relish and add some of the foods that are supposed to be on there, like the ham. Cut the cost a little bit and make it affordable for everyone. You definitely ARE NOT a 5 star restaurant. Stop charging the public like you are. Get a cook in there who knows what a good burger is supposed to taste like. Again I ordered the big zipper and got more lettuce and relish than anything else. Not a happy customer, hate writing bad reviews but this is the 3rd time I gave them a try and I gave them the benefit of the doubt in Hope's it was an honest mistake the first 2 times. Hoping the "3rd times a charm" was going to be it, but it wasn't. You definitely lost my money coming through your food establishment. Hope this review helps your future decisions on what changes need to be made in your restaurant....
