China Wok — Restaurant in Lewisville

I learned while visiting that there's not a big selection for Chinese Food in the immediate Lewisville township. Sure if you want to go further away the choices grow, but that's not the point. However I was happy to stumble across China Wok 2 while in town visiting friends. We were actually on our way to get some groceries at Lowes Foods next door and stopped into China Wok 2 first and placed our orders.

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure we ordered off the lunch menu. I had a beef and broccoli meal and upgraded the regular fried rice to a veggie fried rice and that also came with an option of soup or an egg roll. I opted for the egg roll. I don't recall but I think both of my friends had the General Tso's Chicken. They also opted for the pork egg rolls. Upon returning about 20-25 minutes later our lunch was ready and off to the house we went.

China Wok 2 puts everything into one container, which makes it easier for mixing things up after adding your various sauces and such. I was pleased with the vegetable mixture and kudo's for the mini ears of corn thrown in. I haven't seen those in a while. It was a solid meal portion wise and the taste was excellent as well. All the food was very fresh and fully cooked.

I'm looking forward to another visit here in the future. Hopefully this coming summer. If you're looking for good Chinese food in Lewisville then look no further,...

I was in Lewisville NC for 2 days. My friend and I ordered from here. The guy who answered the phone has absolutely perfect english. Turns out he was born here, so I have no idea what the Ashley Miller reviewer was talking about when she said the man that answered the phone couldnt understand. The order was delivered a little late and driver was quite annoying. For some reason he tried to talk with us, and told us he was Vietnamese. I told him Ok, thats fine what does you being Vietnamese have to do with our order? Kind of weird.. I am pretty sure he was fishing around for a tip. Weird annoying kid... and he didnt get a tip. He might have gotten a tip if he hadn't been late... He had tattoos all over his arms. If he tries to talk to you just politely ignore him. Other than him, everything was pretty good. The food is a little bit better than average. Not the best I've had but satisfying. I might come back again if I was in there area, though I won't have it delivered next time. Ill eat it inside...

Under new ownership (2023). Have been stopping here for at least a 12-14 years previously. Honestly, very impressed for the food for Chinese. It's hard to explain, but the food is less greasy and the vegetables and meats have more taste and don't seem to be as soggy. Made me realize what I've been missing for the years since I've been going there. Only downside is they don't offer the pint options for dinner (do offer lunch specials though), so my wife and I split the cashew nuts and chicken, and we both agreed it's the best we've ever gotten there in the past (and the meal was plenty enough for 2). Son ate his entire meal as well. The pricing went up perhaps a dollar per the meal size, but the packaging of the food is better as well IMO. Everything isn't in a white box, but covered "see through" platters which seemed to hold the heat better (seems to be a better plastic than what was previously used). Generally I don't leave reviews, but think the food was good enough...
