Read moreI have eaten here a handful of times. It's really hit or miss. Their pizza's are decent. They did a really good job with the environment. However my issue is with the service. I understand that they are busy, however the communication is not good at all.
When coming in for take out, it's always very uncomfortable due to the amount of high schoolers sitting on the freezer behind the counter. The language, joking and staring makes it awkward to say the least. The music being played this last time was unprofessional as well. I am not sure if the owner is aware of the playing around and unprofessionalism that takes place at night. However I will say the one lady with blonde hair one night, obviously much older than the teenagers working was just as immature as they were. If those are the managers they have overseeing their business, then I can understand the reason the customer service is the way it is. The standards are always set at the top.
Twice I have had my food messed up. My most recent visit they gave my food to someone else. I came to pick it up and the cashier looked at me and said "oh crap" and walked away quickly. She wasn't rude but didn't tell me what was going on until she got back. I do appreciate her being honest and letting me know what happened instead of having me stand there awkwardly while they hurried to remake it.
With all that being said, the food I would rate 5 stars, but the customer service would be a 1 star for sure. It's nice to have a spot like this across the street from my home. Just wish the service was better. I opted not to upload the pictures of the teenagers (workers) sitting on the freezer while two of them were on their phones the entire time I was there (15 mins). I hope the owner/managers correct these issues, because I have a feeling a lot of their negative reviews would change. Again, it starts with the...
Read moreTried this place for the first time and I won’t come back. It’s definitely not worth the cost. We spent $67 for two pizzas( A supreme and a Cheese), two beers and a lemonade. After waiting almost an hour for our pizza it was a little undercooked on one side. There wasn’t much flavor to the pizza, kinda bland, not super impressive for the cost. My beer wasn’t very cold, not sure if it was because it was served in a plastic cup. There were a ton of flies and we had to constantly swat them away while we were trying to eat. We also ate off paper plates and used plastic forks, not a big deal if you are getting pizza from Dominos but this is a high priced pizzeria with mediocre pizza at best so make it at least seem there is some quality somewhere. We ordered another beer hoping maybe that kind may be a little colder. I waited 20 mins and our server did not come back to our table. They were not that busy and had tons of open tables so we didn’t understand what was taking so long. We were a little annoyed by that point, so once we were able to flag down our waitress I asked her for our check and told her to cancel the two beers we ordered. She got a little snippy with me saying the bar got backed up making margaritas for the table behind us. It would’ve been nice to be communicated to us that’s why it was taking so long instead of letting us sit and wonder what was going on but I know I put the order in for the beers before she took their drink order. Also there were 3 people behind the bar so I’m not sure why it was hard to get 2 beers while getting 6 margaritas together. We’ve had better service and better quality pizza at other places in the Lexington area at the same price, so think we are just gonna...
