Dave's Deli — Restaurant in Lexington

What an incredible experience all around! I was so close to heading to a chain restaurant for lunch, but came across Dave’s Deli and couldn’t be more pleased. To start, the staff was inviting, and there were some food samples for customers to try! I never would’ve thought I would get a tomato bisque for lunch, but the sample convinced me. I ended up getting the pepper, provolone steak sandwich lunchbox, and a side of tomato bisque. Amanda was even as kind to throw in a slice of pizza on the house! Also, the cookies were fresh baked, and Dave’s deli did not skimp on the M&M’s in the cookie (a true bonus)!

Several weeks ago, I saw Dave’s Deli on DoorDash. I ordered the hot ham and Swiss and was really pleased with it. Today, I saw the storefront in passing and stopped in. They had a chili cheese dog special that I couldn’t resist and I’m glad I didn’t! The huge all beef frank was served in a toasted split top bun, and topped with the best homemade chili, cheese and mustard. They had other toppings to choose from but these are my picks. We recently ordered delivery from Dave’s Deli and it was an outstanding experience! I got the pastrami Rachel, which was incredibly flavorful and generously packed with tender pastrami, perfectly complemented by the tangy dressing and fresh rye bread. My wife ordered the Italian sub, and it was equally fantastic—loaded with a variety of meats, fresh veggies, and just the right amount of seasoning.
