El Sazon Taquizas — Restaurant in Lexington

We are just passing through, needed some dinner. We have 4 families in our group and we all ordered. Try the guacasalsa if you like spicy…. SO GOOD!!! They have a large salsa bar, fresh chips, and fresh chopped veggies. They use grilled fresh jalapeños and onions as a signature side for each entree.

Quesabirria: very cheesy, flavorful but could have used some more spice. The tortillas were tough but that’s to be expected. 4*

Super asada burrito: delicious, and HUGE! If you’re not a big eater, this could easily feed 2 people. The asada was cooked perfectly and tender.

Asada taco: YUM!!! I topped it with the guacasalsa which is kinda spicy and it was perfection.

Food was excellent and given in a timely manner. However when i paid there was about $20 overcharge i don’t know it they add tips with your total but i think if they are, the customer should be told that it would be added to the tab or at least given the option to. It’s a great place and it’s clean. My family’s order was 1 large burrito, two sopes, two tacos, one torta,3churros and 2 aguas frescas and a can of coke. Total $90. Ive made calculations with the prices shown(which are the same ones in the restaurant)many times and still it doesn’t add up. Just charge what it’s supposed to be theres no reason to ruin something good with trying to be sneaky with overcharging people, customer trust...

I took time to write them a review because they absolutely deserve it. 10/5 stars on the food. It is SO good. The drink I had was large, fresh, and delicious. They have a salsa bar!

It’s a small place if you’re looking to dine in but if you just want FABULOUS Mexican food, it’s a must. It’s worth the short jaunt into Lexington to if you’re on the interstate passing through.
