Lo Mejor De Michoacan — Restaurant in Lexington

May 29,2019. We ordered a cheese enchilada dinner with beans no rice, spicy shrimp and vegetables, chili dinner. When we got home, the box said pollo ( chicken). I called the restaurant and it was hard to communicate with the employees. I took the box back to the restaurant and was treated rudely by the cook ( I assume owner). In Spanish she said I didn’t know anything. I speak bad Spanish but understand it quit well. I should of checked the food before we left, my fault. But the way that cook acted was not professional. We are so glad we stopped at this restaurant during our cross country drive. Miguel greeted us with warmth and was very personable. We enjoyed listening to him tell us the family story of coming and starting a restaurant and finally settling down in Nebraska with this wonderful place to serve such great Mexican dishes. The food was fresh cooked and very flavorful. The service was excellent and feels as if we made a friend that fed us well and was good company while we dined. If you're in search for authentic Mexican food. This is one of the best mom and pop places in town. I've had several dishes here so I can say that just about everything your order here will be tasty and plentiful. I personally like to order a 3 enchilada dish comprised of a meat enchilada, a potato enchilada and a cheese-and-onion enchilada, complete with beans, rice and the usual Mexican toppings.
