Place is way over priced there is no flavor meat is tough as nails 9 dollars for 5 mozzarella sticks and $17 for chicken fried steak that is just about as thin as two credit cards. Everything they have is out of a can and as cheap as absolutely possible I spent 50 bucks here for two chicken fried steaks, five mozzarella sticks with marinara that tastes worse than a high school lunch and had very old and irony chunks of hamburger in it. The staff is very kind and quick but the food is downright worthless. Do not come here unless you don't care about quality honestly, this place should be shut down. They are missing thing they look decent was the salad bar but $50 in any other restaurant for two people you would get a much larger portions and it would actually taste good the butter that they give you for your roll literally does not have any dairy in it whatsoever cheap water down ice tea cost three dollars per cup The place is honestly a joke and they're taking advantage of the truck parking and overcharging people for basically nothing you could get more off of DoorDash or Uber eats by ordering from somewhere that's down the street for the same price The inside is very old and outdated and you pay just as much as you want for fine dining, but literally the food is worth $10 at most when they charge 17+ before tax. I am certain that the only good reviews they have are reviews that they've paid for do not come here. you will be ripped off the gentleman sitting behind me had to completely refuse his prime rib because he ordered a medium rare and it came out looking pink as ever, but cold and bone dry. This place is all about getting the cheapest things humanly possible and charging expensive prices for no quality in the food and whatsoever no seasoning no flavor. It's a flat out disappointment and the owner should be downright ashamed of what they've tried to do....
Read morePossibly the worst truck stop diner I have ever eaten at, and I was a truck driver. All of the reviewers that say the staff was friendly are either lies, or those people don't work here anymore. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich "with no mayo, please." It came with mayo. I was more clear with my order. "Corn Beef Hash with no toast. And no toast. No toast, no toast, no toast. Thank you." This is an allergy, not a preference. It came with toast, and plenty of crumbs on it. One cup of coffee. I HAD TO POUR IT AFTER SHE SET DOWN THE POT AND WALKED AWAY. No refills. The regulars who arrived after us got their food first.
Their Corned Beef Hash tasted like Hamburger scrapings off the griddle, with no potatoes or onions added, and it was burnt. I didn't eat it. My wife finished her sandwich, and it ran right through her, if you take my meaning. There's a complete other restaurant on the other side of the kitchen which I saw when I was looking for the bathrooms, but while that is shown in the pictures above, the storage/staff dining area on the front side of this dive is where you'll be eating. Don't stop here; don't eat here if you stop. Keep driving. You are not...
Read moreDriving through and local resident suggested Kirks. Walking in there was a lady behind the counter who didn’t acknowledge us being there. I asked if we were supposed to order at the counter or sit down. She said sit where you like. She gave us a menu then walked away. Another girl came up to take our order. She was very dry and did not act happy to be there. We asked several questions about the food. She never made eye contact and would look around the room as she was answering. This made it extremely hard to hear what she was saying. The food was ok. Nothing to be excited about. We never got a ticket so we went to the counter to pay out. Another man had been standing there for several minutes. Finally someone told us we had to go to the bar to pay out. We followed that man to the bar he laid money on the counter and said “good luck” as he was leaving. We paid and left without getting a thank you come again or have a nice day. Nothing. The food was overpriced and mediocre at best. Not the most...
