This is my first time ever leaving a google review, but I just wanted to express how wonderful the service was and how this place is like a hidden gem of coffee shops! My mom gets her usual espresso which a kind lady was accommodating with my mom bringing her own cup and just getting two shots of it plain to help her for her keto diet and wake her up.
I’m very picky about my coffee, so the last thing I’d want is to spend money on a coffee that I wouldn’t drink all of, but one of the young ladies there was very helpful when I shared I have a sweet tooth and what options would be best or popular for a sweet coffee. When she mentioned the first option I was pretty hooked but also skeptical cause I’ve had plenty of white mocha coffees in my life that have left me disappointed, but I decided to give it a try and asked for one pump of vanilla with it.
I can honestly say I’ll most likely never have another white mocha as good as this ever again. It was just perfect and not overwhelming sweet to the point I can taste just white chocolate, but I was able to taste the coffee flavor as well. She did amazing. Another highlight is when we came at the perfect timing when they just brought out the blueberry scones fresh from the oven so we were able to fill our empty stomachs with some of them as well.
My highlight however is definitely this coffee of mine, if we ever pass by again I’ll definitely be trying more of their...
Read moreI travel through here twice per month. They have a drive-through, but the inside is also very cute with lots of little knickknacks and gift type things. I keep trying this place, but have come to realize they don’t know how to steam milk. Order a latte and you get heated milk and & inconsistent espresso. Equipment maintenance can be an indicator of commitment to one’s craft. The espresso grinder hoppers are usually clear so you can see the beans as they’re fed into the grinder. If you look at the hoppers, they are tinged smoked orange with oil which indicates they haven’t bell been cleaned in years. Considering this, it’s difficult to believe they’re regularly cleaning the burr grinders which could explain why the espresso often tastes wildly ‘different’. Years of oil on these burrs cakes on the blades preventing consistent grind. These oils can also go rancid and contribute to the inconsistent flavors.
I know it’s difficult for independent coffee, shops to compete, but there are plenty of small things which require very little financial investment this shop could do to drastically improve. I would encourage the owners to leverage the many free informational resources on best practices, which can be found with a quick Google search.
I’m leaving 2-stars and will stop in again the next two months and upgrade or...
Read moreOn my way from Pennsylvania to Colorado, decided to stop in for a caramel frappuccino and a Canadian bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. First of all, I was struck by how adorable this little shop is! It's also locally owned which is a plus for me, always love to support local businesses. The ladies inside were super friendly, their smiles genuine, and coming in to order felt like walking into the cozy kitchen of a close friend. Not a single catch either--- their coffee is out of this world! I'm not even a huge fan of frappuccinos as a rule but it was hot outside and I needed some caffeine. I was NOT disappointed. I honestly wonder how the McDonald's and spattering of fast food/coffee chain establishments across the way stay in business with this place around! The prices are more than reasonable and they have a selection of other items for sale, from sunglasses to socks to coffee tumblers to jewelry and more! My sole complaint is that I live so far away or I'd be bringing every coffee-loving friend and family member along to experience the down-home goodness of this quaint little shop! Wonderful job! Please stop by if you're ever in the area; you...
