Taco John's — Restaurant in Liberal

The place is clean, the people are nice but, the food is AWFUL!!! Both the taste and the preparation were absolutely HORRIBLE!!! I had a shredded beef street taco that appeared to have at least a half bottle of some type of dressing on it to make it extra soggy. Then there was the handful of brown and wilted lettuce and I can't forget that there was about a teaspoon's amount of shredded beef in it. Then there was the beef and potato burrito...Super sloppy, soggy and had absolutely ZERO flavor! It's inexplicable how the service could be so slow and the product could be so sloppy...but they've managed to do it! Now, I COULD say that there's no way to mess up an order of Potatoes Olė but, they managed to do THAT TODAY! I ordered a medium size and the cup came with about 7 potatoes in it sitting upright....the rest of them were DUMPED into the bottom of the bag. Needless to say, I'll never spend another nickel in there and for anyone reading this review....be smart and order the only item that's edible for human consumption....the Potatoes Olė. This place seriously needs either a new manager or some management training ASAP! I hope you guys get on it quickly, before the entire town finds out how bad your food is and Love's replaces you...

What the hell happened here‽

Whenever I come through town, which is about 6 times a year, I stop here to grab a few taco burgers. Normally it's the highlight of my trip, but it looks like I'll have to find a new place to stop.

I ordered 3 taco burgers, what I got was more like a sloppy José. All three were pressed flat and half of the filling was in the wrapper, so every time you opened one some would fall out. The buns weren't even close to lined up. If I wanted a burger that looked like it had been assembled by an angry monkey, I would have gone to McDonalds.

As for the restaurant itself, they can't seem to figure out how to install displays that actually work. Every time I come here at least one of them is out, but now all of them are and you have to use a little printed menu that is entirely too small. Someone at Taco John's or Love's needs to step up and do their job and get this...

Ate at Taco Johns for the first time today, ordered a spicy Chorizo burrito for breakfast and idk what I ate but it was more grease than food and no Chorizo. Went back to try something else and ordered the boss burrito for lunch with steak and got greasy rice and beans with a total of 2 pieces of meat in the entire burrito, employee’s here need to stop telling people they are better than Taco Bell because the only way that could be true is if you love grease! Loves should definitely remove Taco Johns and put in another subway even though I don’t eat Subway it would still be better. Would not recommend Taco Johns, grab some hot dogs from the roller grill they will taste better and...
