Went to this place for the first time on 2/11 Friday at about 830pm. They were busy but we were able to get seated at a table in the back. A lady from the bar took our drinks and appetizer order. Things were going great. Came time to order our entrees, she took our order and we enjoyed our appetizer while waiting. About 30-40 minutes goes by and no food. I walk up to the front to grab someone and they said they will check on our food. A gentleman comes back out and says " we have no record or orders in the kitchen for you". Come to find out the lady taking care of us left for the night...... didn't communicate with anyone about our table apparently. Completely inexcusable! He attempts to make it right by saying they will take good care of us. We ordered our food AGAIN. Got some refills while waiting also. Food comes out, was great no complaints. The gentleman did his best to make the situation right. We got the bill and received a 15% discount.... Free dessert and a couple free bee beers. We were expecting our meals to atleast be covered for such a long wait but that's not his fault. We were there for about 2 hrs because of the situation. Not sure if we'll return. Someone should definitely hold the lady accountable for what happened. Never leave a table...
Read moreI'm a firm believer that good food is a great equalizer, and places like the Baltimore Pint House prove my point. As soon as I walked in, I knew this would be a great joint; the smell was heavenly, and there was a lively room with all smiles. It was once I ordered that I knew the reason why—everything, and I tell you, everything from the coke to the fried pickles, was the platonic ideal of what it should be. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and was very pleasantly surprised, for around $10 I was receiving enough food that even me, a 250+ lb man, was still asking for a takeout box. And trust me, you will want to take the food home; it was fresh and crispy with the perfect amount of heat to keep you coming back for the next bite. My partner's mac and cheese skillet was to die for as well; he's not much of a sharer and felt the need for me to try it. The fact that it was served with a smile by knowledgeable and friendly staff (shout out to the impeccably stylish Will) only put the cherry on top of such an amazing place. I will be back to try it with friends the next time I am ever in the area. If you're on the fence reading this, I encourage you to go ahead, loosen your belt, and take a chair; you will not be...
Read moreI came in late, right before closing, as their winter hours were different from what was listed online. The bartender was accommodating, laid back, and easy to talk to. I was impressed with what their menu had to offer and really enjoyed my drink. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by the cook standing behind me, the only customer in the establishment, obviously entertaining himself at my expense, since he kept interrupting to laugh loudly at my conversation with the bartender. Eventually, I turned around and stared directly at him, and he left. How are you supposed to feel comfortable with some guy skulking in the corner, laughing his ass off at your heartfelt and realistically traumatic experience? It felt scummy.
I'm torn because the bartender and his wife were so genuinely accommodating and kind. They provided good service. The menu looked awesome. I guess if you don't mind someone laughing audibly behind your back at your expense the entire time,...
