I really like to read honest reviews so try to also leave my own honest reviews. My husband and I try to visit little coffee shops as we are out running errands. We were going through Baltimore and stopped at Juniper& Ivy. *Coffee shop is very sparse, no art work just blank walls *No plants, or candles *There might have been a little Music but didn’t play most of the time we were there *Very cold! We had to keep our winter coats on because it was very cold. We actually left pretty quickly because of this. *It’s an old building but the floors were very dirty, mud everywhere. It just needs swept. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and was excited about the coffee but have to give them 2 stars because our coffee tasted burnt. The two baristas were pleasant and they had Chicken salad which was pretty good to end my review with a...
Read moreWhen they opened I loved going here and grabbing a coffee and muffin. Now they never have food other than donuts bought usually from donut world and charge you more for them. They have been caught lying (miscommunicating) multiple times saying they will come back with other food items and I have yet to see that happen. They used to make the most amazing muffins and they could charge 5$ for them and I’d still buy one. They were HUGE! The owner mentioned they aren’t making enough profit on the food to keep serving it. The people are friendly however when it’s busy and you see staff (owner) eating vs helping costumers it’s aggravating. My husband loves the scones they had a few times and now they never have them. I do love this place and I do recommend it to anyone. I’d love to see this place stay open.. please bring the...
Read moreDuring my recent visit to this coffee shop, I had a mixed experience. The chicken croissant was enjoyable with its flavorful filling and flaky texture. However, the Chai latte was a letdown, tasting sour and watered down. The coffee cake was average and didn't leave a lasting impression. The iced latte had an okay flavor, but there was a hint of burnt coffee taste. While I liked the shop's aesthetic, the cold temperature inside made it uncomfortable. Overall, the highlights were the chicken croissant and pleasant ambiance, but the disappointing Chai latte, average coffee cake, and the hint of burnt coffee taste in the iced latte impacted my overall impression. The shop should consider improving their beverage quality and addressing the temperature issue for a better...
