Eli's Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Liberty Township

This was mine and my boyfriends first time at this bar. We came to watch some of the UC basketball game, we ordered a pitcher and asked for menus(after our first beer) when we finally got our pitcher she took our food order and she didn't come to our table after that to check on us at all (which we didn't care because the food was good when it came out and we are very low maintanced), but after we finished our food we looked for our waitress because we wanted our check and she was sitting down at a table eating with other customers. My boyfriend finally went up to the bar to ask the other bartender for the check only to be ignored. Finally our waitress got up to grab herself something and my boyfriend caught her and asked her if we could grab the check, her only response to him was "I'm off the clock." So finally, I had to grab the other waitress at the bar and tell her we needed our check, she did not make eye contact with me at all and just said "yeah give me a sec."

Needless to say, we will not be coming back to this bar, which is unfortunate because the food was excellent and it seems like a nice spot, but service was absolutely horrible and we seemed to be a bother more...

Called to check if it was wing night. It was. Called back to place an order for wings. Went to pick up wings and the price did not reflect the wing night special. Turns out you have to ask for the special wing price, it’s not a given on wing night. Laughable. Seems like Eli’s isn’t doing well and has resorted to trickery to bring in revenue.

Staff member said “they’re really weird about it. You have to ask for the wing night price when you order or they’re full price”.

Management must be hurting for money. I bet they’re out of business in 6 months or less.

We are at Eli's frequently, probably 4 or more evenings each week. Although the entire bar staff is wonderful, I have to say that Hillary is outstanding. Whether she is promptly taking care of her patrons with drinks or making sure they are well taken care of by the kitchen staff, she is personable AND professional. She goes the extra mile to make sure that everyone at the bar is enjoying their experience at Eli's. We always look forward to seeing her behind the bar when we walk through the doors. I hope you have the opportunity to stop in and experience it...
