Sweetie Pie's Baked Goods and Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Liberty Township

I visited Sweetie Pie's this morning on my way to work with the intention of getting some sweets and a coffee for work. I was treated like I was a bother. I went in and the woman who waited on me was extremely rude. I asked if she had a dozen cookies and was told they had "maybe 6-8 cookies" and then she turned away and started doing something else. No offer or suggestion of 6 cookies, and 6 muffins or anything like that. For a place offering "baked goods", I find it hard to believe they only had 6 cookies, 3 scones and 6 muffins. The place is a small coffee shop good if you like coffee a lot. I personally don’t like coffee but I like frappes and cappuccino that are not very have tasting with coffee so it is not a good place for some like me. I would have gave it four stars at least if the little bit of food they have was better tasting and I didn’t see a lot of baked goods. I still love this little coffee shop. I had a chocolate chip muffin today. I hesitated to choose this because most chocolate muffins are dry for some reason. This one was moist, flavorful and did not disappoint. I also had a hot blackberry lavender latte. It was wonderful - as the barista said, the perfect blend of fall and summer. I also buy bagged Hemisphere coffee here. It is some of the best coffee I've ever had. If you are in the West Liberty area, consider stopping here for coffee...
