I visited Sweetie Pie's this morning on my way to work with the intention of getting some sweets and a coffee for work. I was treated like I was a bother. I went in and the woman who waited on me was extremely rude. I asked if she had a dozen cookies and was told they had "maybe 6-8 cookies" and then she turned away and started doing something else. No offer or suggestion of 6 cookies, and 6 muffins or anything like that. For a place offering "baked goods", I find it hard to believe they only had 6 cookies, 3 scones and 6 muffins. This one was moist, flavorful and did not disappoint. I also had a hot blackberry lavender latte. It was wonderful - as the barista said, the perfect blend of fall and summer.
