Waterfront on Buckeye Lake — Restaurant in Licking Township

Service started declining 3 years ago. Each year we agree to give it another chance. After last night, we are done. Waited almost 2 hours for a pepperoni pizza and garlic bread (which was $42?!?!) we had to leave to leave to go pick more people up on the boat. My husband finally found the server, who was incredibly rude (and for him to say that, is a huge deal) she had no idea who he was and completely blew him off. When we got back, he found her again and let her know we were back, but had to change dock slips. Again, dismissive and said I'll find you, shrugging her shoulders. At almost 2 hours later, and 4 interactions with her, he told her to cancel it and refund his money, including the tip. At that point she informed him there had been a system crash when we ordered and our order never was even placed. Wouldn't you think you could have checked into things at any of the previous interactions or 6 times you walked by our boat?! 3 straight years of rude service. And the 1 time we did get food, it wasn't anything to talk about. Sad to see what use to be a fun, great place get taken off the list because of crappy service with horribly rude wait staff. 10/10 do...

Eh Just another place that over sexualizes young women sad then advertises them on the over head screens like cattle just to get people “men” to come and eat less that mediocre food. Chicken on my salad was gross and from frozen. Unimpressed Bartenders with butt cheeks hanging out like they were going for a swim not serving the public. Not the family friendly environment I was hoping for. Our server was very sweet and did a good job but she’s too good for this second rate hooters environment. Wished we wouldn’t have sat inside The music outside was nice but it was very crowded out there. Girls in short shorts and tight clothes to get tips all over the place. Uncomfortable And I’m not here for it We won’t be back Owners need to implement a dress code for their serving staff.

Experience started ok and then plummeted. We ordered the jalapeno cheese bites that had good flavor but were not cooked through (not a big deal) the girls got a pizza they enjoyed and we ordered the buffalo pizza. We literally took ONE bite and it tasted like chemicals. We told our server and she said because we “ate” the pizza there was nothing she could do. I very nicely asked her how are you supposed to eat it if you don’t take a bite? She said she would talk to the owner whom was onsite. She came back and stated that the owner agreed we had eaten it. I again replied there is ONE I repeat ONE bite the entirety of the pizza remains! She shrugged her shoulders and said “ow well”. I paid my bill and left instead of listening to the band and our group having cocktails. Over a pizza you lost a customer that would have patronized you the entire summer...
