today, after being told by an acquaintance that this was a new place in the neighborhood which I should try, and being a Greek food lover, I decided to place an order.
I called and placed an order for the following (Gyro with No tomatoes side of fries, Fallafel No Onions w/ Salad and a Gyro w/Everything side of Fries).
When my wife arrived home after having picked up the order on her way home, I found that the "Gyros" were nothing more than Meat on a plate with pita wedges. I called and spoke to the Manager who explained to me that since I had ordered the "Platter" this is the way the "Platter" was served.
Excuse ME!!! but normally when you as k for a "Platter" it usually means that it comes with some attributes like (Fries, Salad etc.) or something that changes the REGULAR Sandwich or whatever you are ordering to include other "sides" NOT that it comes in individual pieces.
So while I understand that working at a "fast food" restaurant does not require much intelligence or skills or for that matter being that employees at this establishments do not have the wherewithal to be able to make change without the assistance of a computerized cash register, after constantly being bombarded on a daily basis by these mindless, robotic members of society, I have no choice but to offer this review.
EXTREMELY Disappointed not only with the order, but moreover, with the response from the ?Manager" that this was the meaning...
Read moreWe came to this place only because we were on our way to Aventura, and needed a place to eat. Located almost next to a Wynn Dixie, it looked relatively new judging from the look and how recent everything in the restaurant looked. We were seated immediately. We ordered a lemonade and a Diet Coke and a saganaki which is a pan fried Greek cheese. On the side, it came with arugula, a couple of lemon wedges and tomatoes. The only thing missing was a side of pita bread. Other than that, the cheese was really good and you could tell the ingredients being used were all fresh. For our main dishes, we ordered a gyro platter and a falafel platter. I ordered the Greek fries instead of the regular fries (there’s an up charge but no worries). When the food was delivered, everything was fresh, crisp, tasty and well seasoned. The platters came with pita, tzatziki, salad and your choice of rice or fries. The Greek fries are housemade fries with crumbled feta and oregano. Tasty and oh so good! Unfortunately, and I’m not sure what happened but our server seemed more interested in whatever was going on on her phone than with us. She never once came to ask if they food was ok, only at the end when I signaled that I wanted to check. The restaurant had two servers, the other one seemed more attentive but hey, maybe ours was having a bad day or the drama on the phone was well worth it. It happens. Don’t let that stop you though, the food is...
Read moreStop in today, I always order from Fetta, my food was not good today. I updated my review b/c you responded. Yes, over the years the food was good you’re correct. So fairly those stars are accounted for as 4 Stars⭐️ over the years; minus one today. 1 Star ⭐️ for Service for this review. Please work on your customer service, acknowledge your customers when they walk in the door especially for pickup, and call in orders; as if they’re your guess dining in. As you indicated your cook is your cook. Yes he is your cook but first impression of a business; no matter if he is the cook or not is everything, because he represents the company. The food of a restaurant can be known as delicious, but if the customer service experience is not good, then the customer will always remember the experience they once had.
Customer service is everything, please work on your customer service, I’m very sure it will increase your sales and bring more customers. Greet every customer with a smile 😊 and acknowledge them, because they decided to visit your restaurant today, instead of visiting...
