OMG was this dinner great! Check out my other reviews. I am not normally one to gush over a restaurant. In this case, I'll gush! As soon as we walked in the door we were warmly welcomed. Even the bar tender welcomed us as we walked by the bar. We were seated promptly and welcomed again. The server was introduced and we were asked if we'd been there before. Since we had not but we'd been to other Churrascarias including in Rio, we needed no explanations.
The salad bar, while small in comparison to other churrascarias but the variety and quality was just fine! And then, there are the meats! Oh, the meats. Fillet Mignon, Top sirloin, Flank steak, Beef Ribs, Pork Ribs, Lamb Chops (rack of lamb but one or two ribs), Leg of Lamb, Chicken Hearts! I never even got to the sausage or boneless chicken because they were offering the best (in my opinion) cuts as soon as I turned over my red (stop) and green (I want more) coaster to green. Wow, they are fast too. I could hardly eat one bite before they had something else for me to take. You have to use that coaster wisely or you'll have a plate full of meat that only an army could finish. Seriously, they come fast but nothing is forced upon you, they always ask and do so very politely. And, they are very patient if you want to take pictures.
We were four, my wife and my parents. We didn't think we could manage dessert but the Brazilian Chocolate cake (made on the premises) caught our eye and we shared two pieces, one for each coupe. Also very good.
I can't finish this review without mentioning Rayssa, Stephanie and Isadora. Rayssa and Stephanie were our primary servers and Isadora is the manager (owner?). All were very attentive and Isadora made a point of coming over to assure our needs were met. They seemed genuinely interested in us having a wonderful meal. All of the employees we saw seemed happy to be there and happy to serve the customers.
This is a relatively small place so reservations are recommended. They have their own parking lot with to spots right in front for Handicapped parking.
There is no question about it, we...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Pampas Steakhouse in Lighthouse Point, FL, and I must say, it was an experience unlike any other. Despite arriving just 30 minutes before closing, I was warmly welcomed and seated promptly, setting the stage for what would turn out to be an unforgettable evening.
As a Brazilian accustomed to the rich flavors and diverse offerings of steakhouse cuisine, I can confidently say that Pampas exceeded all expectations. Their impressive selection of sides and cuts of meat showcased a level of quality and variety that is truly unparalleled. From succulent steaks to tender ribs, each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor.
However, what truly set Pampas apart was the exceptional service. The tableside servers were not only attentive and professional but also personable and engaging. Their knowledge of the menu and their enthusiasm for the culinary experience added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal. It felt like being welcomed into a friend's home, where good food and good company come together seamlessly.
Having had a less-than-stellar experience at another steakhouse in the past, I was particularly impressed by the level of care and attention to detail that Pampas exhibited. From the moment I walked in, I felt valued and appreciated as a customer, and that feeling only continued to grow throughout the evening.
In summary, my visit to Pampas Steakhouse was nothing short of exceptional. From the delectable food to the outstanding service, every aspect of the dining experience exceeded my expectations. If you find yourself in the Lighthouse Point area, I wholeheartedly recommend paying a visit to Pampas. You won't be...
Read moreI wish I had had more time to read reviews, or look around for more options. It was getting late after a LONG day of traveling to Florida, so we were running out of time and choices for what was open, & I went with the first place I found with a higher rating. I've been to many Brazilian restaurants and Pampa is definitely at the bottom of this list. We left disappointed. The staff was friendly, and the meat was good. That's where it ends. After being seated with a 2 yr old, we waited quite a long time before anyone came back to even get our drink order or offer a high chair. To the point my daughter ended up just getting the chair herself. We were passed over for food a couple of times even though our disks were green. Someone in our party ordered a beer, which was warm. He didn't make a fuss so I didn't know until we were done. Part way through our meal, the hostess crawled under our table to retrieve a wallet the previous diner dropped. No warning, no excuse me, just walked over, and slipped under the table right next to me. Then came the bill. Not only were we charge $3.90 EACH for CANNED sodas (no free refill) they automatically added a 20% gratuity on our bill. For a party of 3 with a 2 yr old, whom didn't eat. I've always been under the impression that automatic gratuities were for parties over 8. I prefer to choose my tip amount based off of service quality. It USUALLY runs 20% unless I have major issues. This tip wid probably have been in the 15 to 18% range. Next time I will do more research. It wasn't worth the excessive bill I...
