My husband and I are locals and went Sunday for brunch. We work in the service industry so its rare we get a Sunday together. We were looking forward to going with our doggie to a nice spot by the water. We arrived somewhere between 10:45-10:50am. They were busy but not through the roof busy- we waited about 20-25 min (average) for a table, nothing crazy as a wait is expected. We were seated at 11:15am- at almost 11:25 we had not been greeted yet and 10 min feels like an eternity when you are just sitting there. I kindly stopped the Busser passing by and I asked if you could please check on our server, as we hadn't had one yet. His reply was verbatim "Ma'am we are busy just give her a minute" and he walked away. A minute or two later our server came. She was very nice, we gave her to order all together and it was about 11:30am by now. After waiting she came to the table at 11:52-11:55 and said our order was coming right out. By 12:12p we had no food, dry mimosa glasses (that we paid for at the bar while waiting..) and she never came back by. I had ordered a coffee that she had brought at the beginning when she took our order, so we left money on the table for the coffee and left. It was absolutely inexcusable that the food at almost 45 min didn't even appear to be on the way... an egg plate, a waffle and side of ham. Nobody came back since 11:55p at all. I have worked in every position in a restaurant for 30 years, and my last 10 yrs I have been running restaurants. I would have never let this happen, on my watch. I understand when things are backed up and not going as planned, but she never came back. She would glance over quickly just to see..but never communicated with us 15 min after saying it was 'coming right out'. This was our 2nd bad experience, the last having been rectified by a very nice manager, who was not there on this day, so we decided to give it another chance. As we know from the industry there can be a bad day....but no more. This was last and final. Too bad you lost locals that would have supported you when season is over... BTW the rude busser that was 'REALLY' busy from earlier, was out front smoking while we were...
Read moreMy wife and I took our dog Louie to The Naughty Dog Marina restaurant at approximately 6 p.m. on Saturday July 3rd. This is what we can say about this destination, in my opinion. As we walked in, we were greeted by a wonderful host. As he walked us towards our table, we heard a wonderful live band. Our host out of the courtesy, ask us if we wanted to be near, or further away from the band. As our host led us to the perfect seat next to the water. He found us a quiet little table just beside the water, it was perfect for us. My wife thought two things at that time. I would talk to everyone around me, which I did. She was correct. Her other concern was that our dog Louie would growl at people and other dogs. That was incorrect. Lol. I love when we are both correct. There was a group of fun people getting on their boat for a birthday party. They were having a blast. We also met another family coming in on their 35 Dakota center console to have dinner with their baby puppy also. The experience there was amazing. Louie had the puppy hot dog dinner. I had the mahi sandwich it was killer. My wife had a barbecue pulled chicken sandwich and that was delicious. Our server Michael was amazing. We were so Grateful that we had the pleasure to meet him, and to be served by him. Thank you again Michael for the beautiful service you gave our family. The overall experience... The Marina, the incredible staff, along with the live music and food was outstanding.. This was one of the greatest nights Jen, myself and Louie, have had as a family this week. We do have a beautiful 16-year-old girl Jesse, she is finishing up school and looking for the perfect college for her now. Again I would request the Naughty Dog restaurant to anyone who is looking for a fun pet friendly restaurant. Maybe, if you are just looking to relax with a beautiful atmosphere. It's perfect. If you're looking for a great meal, you just found it. If you're looking for a special family dinner for your pet, they have it there also. I gave a five-star review because there are not six stars.

Read moreWe came here for lunch for my mom's birthday; they do not sing here or make a big deal, but they did comp her key lime parfait.
We were 3 adults, and 1 small dog, and we were seated within 13 minutes. The vibe is very relaxed (except the staff; running around like crazy ants 🐜) and the views are beautiful as you have a plain view of the harbor and boats. You can even walk on the docks while you wait and there is a small boat gas station quick stop/tackle shop at the end of the dock.
The food; the lobster roll was good but it felt like way too much bread (bread seemed like potato bread) and the lobster salad was only slightly bland, but I added some salt to taste. The Wakame salad was DELICIOUS; not sure I'd it's made in-house, but it was good. The cucumber salad was not bad, just a little too sweet for my taste buds but someone might like it like that.
The Long Island iced tea was just OK; I've had tastier ones, but then again, it's not like I went to a specialized bar or something.
The Key Lime parfait is enough for 3 to 4 people to share and it has A LOT of pie crust in it, but it is tasty. Make sure you're going to eat it all there because trying to take it with you will be messy since it's made and served in a glass and you'd have to spoon it out in a to-go cup.
The service: I didn't really see our waitress as often as I would have liked; I went looking for help 3 times for napkins, update an order, and look for someone to discuss what could be done for my mom's birthday.
Atmosphere wins the day for Nauti Dawg today! It's a wonderful spot that has a boat dock in the harbor and a boating gas station that has a quick stop convenience store and a small tackle section that was cool.
Overall it was a good experience and I'll be back eventually to give...
