For being a gas station mini-mall restaurant, this place is pretty great! I took a star off only because their curtido seemed like it was out a while (veggies were dried out almost, and the pickling did not really bring out tons of flavor), the burger was overcooked (though the patty had great flavor, if only it wasn't cooked well-done) and it took about 30 minutes to get food, despite being there at a slow time. With that said, the loroco and cheese pupusas are stellar, staff are friendly, and the food comes out nice and hot. All in all, I think I'll be revisiting to see if my same issues get improved on and to rip into a lot more pupusas!

Don’t know if they just missed the mark the day I ordered but I was honestly not impressed by the pupusas. I have had homemade pupusas and they were much better than this. These pupusas weren’t thick/filled sufficiently and lacked flavor. The pork pupusa was better than the chicken pupusa. Tamale was dry too. And they charge extra for sauce….when the food is dry, you need sauce.

This restaurant is attached to the Shell Gas Station. Do not let this scare you away - I came in and everyone was super friendly. There was a gentleman who greeted everybody who walked in and I got pupusas for my coworkers. They are decently sized and I would recommend maybe 2 - 3 for lunch. I would definitely come back again.

The food smelled great and the table behind us seemed pleased. I never got half my order and though I told the server, she never rectified it.

My margarita came out wrong and most DEFINITELY WAY OVER PRICED FOR THE SIZE!!! You’re getting a small rocks glass loaded with too much ice and not enough tequila … and the cheese dip was cold when it got to our table and was missing the tortilla mentioned on the menu… to which the server just shrugged at and said “I’ll get you one” and never did, but also was reminded and still never did. She also never really came to check on us and all of her other tables were on the other side of the patio. We decided not to order a full meal because the service seemed incapable of handling the people.

We ran out of chips and asked 3 people for more (chips were really good) but they never brought any and our server waited until she brought us a check to ask if we wanted more after we had asked like 3 times.

The salsa was ok. The tomato chunks in ours tasted like they may have gone bad and it was sickly sweet. The recipe seemed like it may have been good otherwise but the bad tomatoes ruined it. Quality control ya know?!

We asked for a dessert menu when we first sat down and it took 25 minutes to get it. She forgot like 3 times. The chocolate cake was mediocre and the ganache was way over cooked and became chewy on the inside. The mango was basically mango nectar from Costco that was just poured all over the plate and the ice cream scoop was less than a tablespoon and almost completely melted by the time it got to us. So- crunchy chewy too hot brownie in a puddle of melted ice cream and mango juice is a more apt description. Sitting under the heating lamp waiting to be run out and forgotten I assume?!

The table next to us had a different server and he was super attentive and they had everything they needed and were all smiles. 2 tables were sat on the patio after us and both of them had their drinks before our server...

Was here doing some work on the owners car and knew before I left I was getting some food. Was not disappointed at all. The food is great, the portions are plentiful, and we have plenty of left overs for a house of 6. God bless this family and their business.

By the way I know many removed a star because of the wait time, but I hope the consumer can understand that this is not fast food and it's many different foods being prepared for one try. These things do take time and it's most definitely worth the wait. You can't...
