[Greta cashier] GROSS & unprofessional! Hungry I stopped by since I've had good sandwiches at BG's (on Sibley) in the past. All their food "sandwich" selections; meat, lettuce, etc. are sitting out open to the air & thus uncovered. Well One of the guy "cooks" (WHO NEVER SPOKE W/ ME, LIKE I WASN'T STANDING THERE FOR 10 MNTS) has this foot long beard which is fine- If you weren't walking back & forth all day as A "cook" w/ your giant beard and facial hair dangling over open food all day. 𤢠GROSS! Never the less, I was hungry so I stood there like A robot waiting for anyone too verbally notice & acknowledge me- "Hi. We'll be right w/ you, sorry about the wait." THEY DIDN'T.
I stood there for 9-10mnts, watching multiple different BG women workers walk back & fourth, like I was invisible. I even watched one younger blond women walk figity back & fourth- organizing plastic wear, stacking tin sheet boxes, food holders & other unnecessary things without ever verbally acknowledging me (even though we made eye contact). She was essentially trying to find something to do. An "Look busy" (you know what I mean).
When I checked out w/ my groceries I mentioned some of this to naive (or possibly crabby) Greta. Who didn't care, She said; "There busy filling other orders". Even though that wasn't correct. And even if it was true, it's no excuse for half A dozen employees to walk back & fourth behind A food counter and not verbally at minimal address- THE ONLY 6' FOOT 5" CUSTOMER AT THE COUNTER, WHO'S BEEN STANDING THERE PATIENTLY WAITING FOR ALMOST 10mnts. Smh.
In the end Greta ((A cashier to young to understand conversational decorum)), couldn't even say "I'm sorry about that" & throw me a little apologetic empathy. Nope! Maybe I'll call the owner.... And be careful of long beard cooks, hair will eventually end up in your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBeen shopping here for many generations and just recently was extremely disappointed. Purchased food, got all the way home and realized I was over charged by more than $50. Was told that I needed to come all the way back for a refund and all I got was a simple apology and a refund once I got there. A few days later went to eat something that I purchased only to find a worm inside. Went back to the store yet again and all I got was a simple apology and a refund. When calling to complain to the owner, I was told there was nothing that could be done and they didn't understand why I was even calling to complain since the product was not made by them. Was also informed at the time that I could have simply got a refund over the phone and I didn't need to be wasting my time doing all that driving. When I continued to push the issue I was hung up on.Had never had a problem before this and was extremely happy with everything. Customer service is extremely poor when you have a problem with something.Would never recommend anyone to go there for their shopping needs. Not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe sandwiches at the deli have always been great until today. Saturday. I purchased a combo classic and could tell when the gal was cutting the bread it wasnāt fresh. I got home and started eating and after one bite realized it was day old bread. I rarely complain but at $12 a sandwich one should expect fresh bread. Obviously thatās what makes the sandwich so good. At least for me. I called and spoke to a manager. He agreed with me and admitted the use day old bread especially on Saturdays because of some lame excuse of having too left over and they donāt bake on Sunday. Iām in the food concession business. I would NEVER serve a day old product at my stand AND expect my customers to accept an inferior offering and pay for it. Thatās not how you build a following for your products. That makes me think where else are they cutting corners!! Plus that hoggie bun costs about a quarter or less. I know. Pretty foolish way to run a food business. Especially when itās such a...
