We were planning a graduation dinner for our daughter. We’ve had take-out from LIK many times since the opened on Swamp Pike. I stopped in on a Tuesday and spoke with Fran. She was so friendly and helpful. I ordered a variety of half trays and garlic knots for a Thursday night dinner at home. I wanted to be sure it would be hot so I could serve it right away. Everything was labeled and in sturdy boxes for transport. We ordered chicken parm w spaghetti, chicken piccata, baked penne, meatballs, sausage/peppers/onions, chicken fingers and one individual Gluten-free crab valentini (which is so good). Everything came with extra sauce, honey mustard (as requested) and marinara-clearly labeled. We arrived right on time and everything was ready to go. Fran rolled it out to the car for us. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Guests age range was 9-69, everyone enjoyed what they ate. Great customer service I truly appreciate. We definitely recommend using them for parties! I really want to love this eatery and will keep trying but we have had many problems. First off their loyalty program was either discontinued or we never have points added even though they say we will. On the food side my wife absolutely loves the Chicken Mondo. I have ordered cheesesteaks on many occasions but every time they have been terribly dry and one time no cheese. Rolls are great however. We also tried their Pizza’s twice. First one was burnt where we could only eat 3/4’s of it and much of that was over cooked. The other was just all out black on the bottom with brown overcooked cheese on the top. Totally unedible. I’ll give them a couple more tries hoping it was “new” or “rushed” errors. Calling to report or driving back was not an option as I would have to kill off another hour by the time I got my food replaced, plus one time I ordered and they never gave it to the cook. Update to my 4 stars - now 5!!!! What is better than amazing? Fantastic? Stupendous? Whatever the word is, that is their customer service plus more! I told my husband I'd order a pizza (the only pizza we get take out btw b/c it is the BEST) for him to pick up on his way home. I told our daughter my husband was picking up a pizza on the way home. Everybody knew that they were picking up a pizza on the way home - except for me. I completely forgot to actually order it. So they showed up at Limerick Italian, expecting to find a pizza. The staff was absolutely amazing. Professional, kind, and curteous. They went through every receipt and every online order, but they could not find it. (Of course, because I didn't order it!) After my husband paid, they offered a full refund if he brought back the receipt. Mea culpa. Mea culpa. Mea maxima culpa! PS : Pizza is still fantastic. Crispy pepperoni- yummmm
