As we headed to Sellersville Theater for a concert we needed to find a place to stop for dinner. My wife, who is always amazing at finding great places to eat found this wonderful Italian Restaurant. Don't let the location fool you. From the moment we say down Dom (our waiter) was amazing. This guy was made to be in food service. He answered all our questions, had fantastic recommendations and constantly made sure we were taken care of (along with all his other guests). The food was fantastic, and the portions were more than adequate (considering I took half of my Eggplant Parm home and was completely stuffed. For appetizer we got the Bruschetta which was very flavorful with a hint of sweetness and not too much balsamic, perfect. Some potato soup which was also delicious and of course some bread. My wife got the Wild mushroom risotto, which came with a nice salad with lemon basil dressing. As I said, I got the Eggplant Parmesan which I bet weighed a pound and was delicious. That also came with a salad. The sauce was extremely good. Finally, the dessert, a freshly made slice of pistachio cake. I had never had this and let me tell you, I will try this in the future at other Italian restaurants but this one is going to be hard to beat. It was too die for!!! If you're in this area please give this restaurant a try I didn't think you'll be disappointed at all. And tell Dom we said hi!

We made reservations for a Friday night, but it didn’t matter because it wasn’t very crowded. The servers were very nice and the atmosphere was cute. They are having some issues with their air conditioner leaking right now. The food was good, like a nice Italian home made meal would be. It is BYOB and if you bring Prosecco, they only have wine glasses, no fluted or champagne glasses, so maybe bring those too. Pictured: Lobster Bisque- came topped with crab. Had some shells in it so you know it was the real deal. Wasn’t overly flavorful and was very thick. Calamari Fritti- Perfect, would order this appetizer again. The bread that is given to each table. Gnocchi- very soft but felt that the dish was lacking something. Very basic, I added the Parmesan from the table to try to help. Frutti Di Mare- Seafood was fresh, tasted great. Tiramisu- very good, would recommend. Unfortunately they had ran out of creme puffs while we were dining… guess if you are going for the puffs you better order that first thing! Overall a nice experience, not our # 1 pick for a date night, but if you are local it is worth trying out.

Tonight was the first time at Villa Caterina Cucina Italiana in Schwenksville and it won't be my last! A huge shout out to our lovely server Rosalia Picone and the gracious owners Caterina Picone and Antonio Randazzo for a fabulous dining experience and for treating our table like family! Our table had the spaghetti pomodoro with sausage and it was fantastic! The homemade pasta was el dente and the sauce was so fresh and you can telll it was made with love! We also had the nonnas meatballs and the roasted beet salad with the mixed berry vinegarette. The meatballs were so tender and the shaved parmesan and ricotta were the perfect compliment and the roasted beets were so fresh it tasted like they were just picked that day! For dessert, you have to have the vanilla or orea cream puff! They are the perfect ending to a magnificent meal! Don't worry, you will have leftovers for another meal tomorrow! I can't wait to go back!

Hearty Portions Healthy Options Honored Attending VILLIA CATERINA ITALIAN RESTAURANT OFF SWAMP PIKE Near Just Cruising in Limerick TOP GUN RESTAURANT IN AREA SOME are GOOD THIS ONE IS A STANDOUT! A Must Visit I'VE BEEN THERE 3 Times for Dinner 4 times for Take out. 1st time to test the Calamari (freshly cut- a rare thing) Great Homemade Marinara Sauce with some hot peppers. And pasta with their marinara sauce. 2nd time with Neighbors. Kathy & I shared Fresh Wild Caught Salmon. Wonderful. They split the plate for us. Neighbors had Chicken Parmigiano and Manicotti. Had side of Mushrooms shared by all, as well as side of broccoli, as appetizers. Also Lobster Bisque homemade topped with delectible crabmeat. Our server was Rosalia, daughter of Owners Caterina (a delight to get to know) and Antonio (Head Chef & Creator of this fantastic menu).

Rosalie checked back with us a few time (shortly after receiving meals - to make sure everything was cooked to our liking, not too soon and not to late which is a compliment of a Great Server) which I personally appreciated. The entire staff was professional and a delight to talk to. I noticed that Antonio takes his time to respond to every review given to his restaurant. 3rd Time. 6 of us. Kathy & I, my Daughter & Husband and Brother-in-law and his wife. He is a restaurant connoisseur, so I was concerned! You did not disappoint. He had Mussels fish pasta dish. Appetizers Calamari, Nonna's home cooked Meatballs with cheese and marinara sauce ( to die for), best I've ever had. His wife enjoyed one of the fish specials of the night. My wife had a Vegetarian dish. I had outstanding Veal Picatta My daughter had Chicken Parmigiano and son in law had Eggplant Parmigiano. They brought a piece of CHEESECAKE adorned with a candle for their 2nd anniversary. Other dessert items are incredible. Server was Anthony. Alex and Barbara have also taken care of me in past. All the servers help each other out delivering the food dishes. Bus help also do a good job filling glasses with water and assisting the servers. Take out 4 times. Once just pasta n sauce. Yes I have ordered just Nonna's Meatballs three times. Very tender 100% beef. I was only going to eat 2 last night Fri Sept 27 2024, but I devoured all 4 (no problem) with their warm bread & butter. They also have Succulent Brick Oven Pizza FYI BYOB- Bathrooms very, very clean & sanitized, a most important aspect of a Quality RESTAURANT. Do not pass Go Do not collect $200.00 (Monopoly) Walk, No, RUN to Catalina's for your next Lunch or Dinner, whether business, family or friends, or after church for an Eating Extravaganza!

Rich Sachs Former RESTAURANT Manager Best waiter this side of the Mississippi! Why? Because I've never been to the other side of the Mississippi. Open 6 days a week, Tuesday-Sunday, 11:00am - 9:30pm. Enjoy Great Food, Service & Atmosphere This is a Family Affair that will leave you with A MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE I KNOW YOU'LL BE BACK. IT'S OK TO PASS THIS WELL KEPT SECRET TO YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS%. They recreated this property from former restaurant. Great work and...

I visited with a friend for an early dinner and we walked in and I asked 3 times if they were open (we came around 530 so it was still a bit early for the dinner rush). All the employees were sitting at a table or in the back area behind the counter. No one said a word just stared at us. It was awkward and very weird. Finally a young guy came up to the hostess stand and asked if we would like a table. The waitress was not very attentive and seemed like she couldn't get away from our table fast enough. The food was very hot, fresh and well bland, which is odd because generally Italian food has a lovely garlic flavor, there's seasonings and just overall a general flavor to the food and usually aromatic. This really lacked all of that. The waitress never came back until the very end so I didn't end up ordering a glass of wine to go with my pasta. My friend and I were both shocked at the lack of hospitality being it was an Italian restaurant and being Italian myself I found it rather rude. We asked for the check and left- she didn't even ask us anything about our meal or if we wanted a box. We were never asked if it was our first time, offered any recommendations or appetizers. It was very odd especially hearing other wait staff ask other guests how their meal was, if they'd like anything, offered recommendations and was overall just friendly. I wish this had been a lot better experience, we read the reviews and was shocked at how poorly our experience was compared to the amazing reviews we read. This is a pricey establishment, which is normally not a big deal but to have an experience like this and to pay this much was honestly more than I'd like to contend with again. I'm not sure if we will be...

I've been in the restaurant industry myself for over 10 years. I grew up in North Jersey and worked in Manhattan. This is one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to. As soon as you walk in you get straight authenticity. The owner Antonio and his staff largely his own family make you feel like you're right at home. My waiter Giuseppe was speaking in Italian to the kitchen while he was at our table. I loved it. The aesthetic is incredible and you can tell that whoever designed it put in a lot of time and effort. Now as far as the food: the pizza was fresh, crisp perfect crust, the carbonara had the consistency that is so hard to find in other Italian restaurants with authentic succulent pancetta. My mother had the veal marsala and said it was tender and the sauce was fantastic. As far as appetizers we got the calamari and the arancini. The calamari was not overly breaded at all and just very fresh. I almost felt healthy eating it while at the same time feeling the guilty pleasure of eating something fried. Salads came with almost every meal. The House and the Caesar were comprised of fresh crunchy pieces of lettuce. They are working on their bar and getting it all set up and even then make an excellent espresso martini. No Bailey's or anything other than fresh espresso and the other necessary ingredients leading to an aromatic frothy cocktail that would impress any seasoned bartender. You would think I'm an official ambassador or something but honestly I just love seeing a family having success in the food they're giving to the community. I make the drive from about 1 hour. I hope that by reading this you decide to support them and have an...
