I came here and did the Fat Elvis Challenge the end of 21' and was unprepared for it and failed. I then came back in June of '22 with my very good friend Max Stanford and achieved redemption! When eating sooo much Ice Cream so fast you can't really stop to appreciate it. Soo...

Me and my son finally made our way here for some dinner and dessert. It did not disappoint!!! 👌

For dinner I had a Chili Cheese Dog that was absolutely delicious, one of the best I've had. I also decided to try their Scoupe Burger topped with Cheese & Fried Onions. 😋 My son just went with a standard Hot Dog but no complaints came from him!

Onto dessert... I went with a double scoop and chose Cinnamon Caramel Swirl and Lemon Meringue Pie. Both were outstanding and some of the best Ice Cream. . But the Lemon Meringue has to be in my top 3 Ice Creams ever! 😍 My son had the Cake Batter and he loved it, I enjoyed finishing his off as well. 😉.

If you're in the area stop by! And even if you aren't it's worth a trip here to try them out. From the amazing food, awesome atmosphere and decor, to the wonderful workers and owners, it's all spot on!

1. our ice cream was delicious, specifically the banana nilla and peanut butter oreo!
2. the service felt inattentive. Only one person takes the orders while everyone else just stands there, even when the other is busy handling payment/taking orders with a line beginning to form. I felt awkward asking for a sample since everyone was standing towards the register waiting for an order when only one person was ordering. I just wish the staff/ordering process was more welcoming and organized, allowing for a smoother and more enjoyable experience. I hope this isn’t how it’s run on the weekends…
3. the portions are generous, however it is unfortunate when you just want a little taste for dessert and order a kiddie and receive a lot more than expected. It’s nice to get this much but can be wasteful as some may just want a little ice cream.

So, after a delicious meal at Vekoos, we decided to get some ice cream. Been wanting to go to this place but the lines had been too long. We got there just as they were opening. Not much of a line so in we went. I got a chocolate malt shake and wife got a cherry gelato. They forgot the ice cream so just put a scoop on top. Although delicious, it was a mess served that way. Lets just chalk it up to inexperienced kids working there. We will give it another try at a later date. Was pleased that they offer a 20% discount to military veterans. Missed out on that as I didnt see the sign till after I payed. It was a pleasant experience Retro theme with 50/60s music playing I had to alter this review and knock down another star.
