I am not a religious man, but food from this quaint hole in the wall planted next to a gas station made me see God.
My wife and I have been coming to Lincoln City for every anniversary for over a decade and never found this gem. We bagged our traditional nice dinner out on the first night and ordered pizza from Otis. Ordering online for us was easy on their well thought out site. One word of warning: this is a small joint running a limited staff...you're in for a wait. Once it hit our mouths however we gave zero Doo Doo about said wait. I will never complain about waiting for pizza like this ever again. Bar none best either of us had ever had. It tasted like the people that made it gave a damn. There is a reason they care too. (Read the menu: they make their own sausage, ranch, sauces, fries, seasonings blah blah blah.) Nice try Domino's.
Next day my wife looks at me and more telling than asking states with a slight carnal anger: we are skipping breakfast and going to Otis. After recovering from a small case of tinkling, I agreed. The customer service: warm, welcoming, efficient and patient.
Then I met the owner. Well 3 of them that is. The so called boss man from Philly tells us while we waited that he bought his previous partner out and immediately gave a split 25% stake in the company free of charge. The hell? No really. That's why they care. Everyone from the delivery driver (boss man) to the evil eyed but friendly pizza maker (you are a model of efficiency and service) to whoever cleans has a reason to get out of bed and care. That's loyallty you can't buy, and a recipe for success.
Having ordering the Italian Stallion and a turkey club we dug in. The club my wife ordered was epic for a club. It's a club after all, but you can taste quality. The Italian Stallion is another matter entirley. This thing is a planet. Layered with the greatest selection of meat in history, all butcher quality and on a homemade bun I didn't want to speak while eating. One of the very few times a meal has stopped time for me.
To the owners: keep doing you. You all show such passion for what you do it should make anyone jealous. You have lightning in a bottle, just make sure you keep it.
To all of you wondering if you should eat here, STAHP! Do it. Be patient, don't call them, use the online system. Be chill and wait for one of the best meals you...
Read moreStopped on the way to Lincoln City last month, supposed to be a fun day with my son and my grandkids. Instead, I got the worst customer service ever. The whole episode was uncalled for, unprofessional and it overshadowed my whole day.
A smart ass kid who after making me wait and wait at the counter to get my drink, (already had my food) and after all three men back behind the counter ignoring me... no "be right with you" I asked the three men milling about "Please can I get my drink?"I was told I was being rude and the kid named Coulton yelled at me, "There are others ahead of you!!!" I said "I just want my drink I paid for." He then told me I was being rude (to ask for my drink? Seriously?) and he would bring my drink when he was ready. Minutes later, he brought my drink and slammed it on the table!! All of this he did with total abandon, as if he had a right to act so rudely in front of my family and other customers!!! Rude doesn't cover his attitude and treatment of a paying customer. It was like, "got your money, now go away attitude."
I even asked a woman who had come in, that was behind the counter for a brief time..."Hey, are you the owner?, she said they were out of town..."I had the worst experience with that kid"...pointing him out. She looked at him, not offering me any apology and walked off.
On top of all that, the food was VERY disappointing. I wanted a good corn dog. Not happening here. Got scorched, doughy inside, burnt and very salty corn dog. Not a sweet corn dog at all. Yuk...add that to the bad customer service I got, I will never stop again!!!
Owners need to get the kid Coulton or whatever his name is under control or they will loose business. And seriously, take off that backwards ball cap!! Makes these kids smart asses. I figure one day he will smart off to the wrong person, and karma will come and hit him in the...

I've lived here for a little over a year; and I have hesitated to write a review because I have had some quality issues with cold deliveries; but it was during the societal shut-down so I was happy to get food at all. Something told me it wouldn't be fair to judge them on that.
I'm glad I kept the faith because it has paid off now that I have discovered the Itallion Stallion. It is perhaps the best sandwich I've ever had and I managed a sandwich shop for 3 years when I was younger.
I'm still hesitant to ask for delivery so I just go to the window everytime now. They have not missed a beat since I've been doing that. Hot fresh food every time and it's not normal food. The end result is an artistically crafted meal cooked to perfection and you can tell they really care. If I had the money, I'd pay them twice every time just to match the effort the put into their food.
I've read other reviews complaining about customer service... Maybe service wasn't so great during the pandemic but what can I expect? I haven't noticed any service issues in the last 6 months. And for food quality this high I'd be willing to deal with pandemic-level service anytime. When they put that much effort into the food, I expect them to be tired afterward. If I wanted customer service that gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling I can go to a big chain restaurant where the employees put effort into everything but the food because they're designed to make you feel good rather than to make you truly satisfied so you'll come back like an addict. No thanks. I'll stick with Otis Pizzeria because they focus on the one thing that actually...
