The food was good and coffee hot, but this is the 3rd time I have visited on a weekday in the past month where none of the employees were wearing masks. When I visited on consecutive Sundays in late Apr, all the employees wore masks. What's up with that? C-19 transmission may not occur from the food, but there's no real barrier at the drive-thru window nor was the employee helping me, wearing gloves, while handling payment. Seriously? That's largely not what I'm observing as happening at other fast food restaurants. And the offenders aren't under 30+ years.
** Decided to drop from 3 to 2 stars after reading that another reviewer felt the same way. Then I read a Mgmt written message about how they are trying to make customers feel safer by having the customer order and pay online. Excuse me, but that only reduces the time of face-to-face time during payment. The ordering is done through the speaker and I don't wish to use a credit card through a phone app to pay. Don't you think some of your employees might wish to wear masks? They cannot maintain 6' distance, and spend more than mere minutes around each other. If I was employed there, and my manager was not masked, I would feel uncomfortable speaking up, asking others to wear a mask to protect ME. Funny, this seems to be a weekday crew problem. Maybe it's a lax managerial problem?
I have always ordered on the app ahead of time to make it easier and quicker for both the employees, myself and the customers behind me in line. It’s always worked so well. Today I submitted an online order and it allowed to submit right of way which was 630am. I submitted it and headed to the restaurant. I get there and cars ahead of me not being helped. After those cars just took off I noticed on the speaker that their new business hours do not start til 7 am. Which is fine but advertise that on your app/site so people are aware. I would not have left to get my donuts as early. Had I not already paid for them online I would have just went elsewhere. I also think the staff that were already in the building who knew people were out there could have done a better job addressing the time change as people pulled up. They seemed very uncaring which I think is very bad customer service I get the pandemic has affected a lot of businesses. But if you aren’t able to function well enough for good customer experience then advertise this. Or close...
Read moreI just so happened to be in the area while passing thru town and saw Dunkin and wanted to stop. Being from New England where Dunkin is the go-to coffee shop and not living in the east anymore I rarely get to enjoy Dunkin these days. This visit was rather disappointing. I ordered my iced coffee, had to correct the person taking the order twice as to what I'd asked for. I ordered my kids some doughnuts as well. When I get to the window to pay my coffee is wrong and they only gave my half of my doughnuts. I explain to the worker about the other doughnuts and he brushed it off and tried to have me just leave. I asked again for my other 2 doughnuts and just accepted that my coffee was not the way I'd ordered it.
I was very dissatisfied with the service I received and how the gentleman working brushed me off when I presented him with my issue. I expect all locations to take their jobs seriously. I love Dunkin but definitely will not return to this location when...
