So we (fiance and I) have mixed feelings about this place. To begin with, we have eaten seafood and in this case Mexican Style Seafood all over the U.S.A. and more importantly Mexico. I worked in the Food & Beverage Industry for over 15 years. I am very patient in Restaurants with the service, mistakes on food or drinks, wait times etc. We have been here I'd say over 3 dozen times forsure. Probably more. Off the bat the food was delicious. It is always good 100% of the time. But sometimes they don't have all the sauces and the crackers are always changing. If you mexicam and you eat this type seafood you know the cracker brand and type is important.
We have tried a ton of the menu but are hearts was always on the Ceviches cucaraches, the red snapper and the massive family trays. But since day 1 of our visit service was horrible. Now, not all the time. In fact, we had a couple of great service trips. But to be straight forward overall, horrible. Everything from not bringing plates, silverware, drinks, checking how food was, checking if we wanted more food or drinks etc.Every visit was something different. But we accepted it. Because overall they mean well. They just need a good trainer. I served for 10 years and I would never come close to dropping the ball on service like a few of the servers here even if it was a difficult table. But anyways, we still went and would still go . The owners have always been nice. Once they brought us out double snappers because the ones they had were a bit small. Now that is excellent service.
But another issue was the portion sizes. I know it might be a mistake on their behalf but whenever we would go on Fri or Sat nights the portions on crevices and cucarachas were always smaller. I never said anything except once because the price went up which is fine I understand. But the portion one Friday night really got too me. It was that small.
The tequilas are good for sure but when I'm paying for a shot and the waitress spills a quarter of it out just while giving it to me there is a problem. This has happened a dozen times. We used to go in there and drink all the top shelf bottles ,claze Azul, tres generation's etc. And not just one we would have many upon many. We use to crack bottles here and finish them almost. Well we don't do that anymore because of this reason.
The family trays are.excellent all the time. I'd say though at least include rice option for another 5 or 10 bucks. But we love them. Mother's day, my birthday, finances bday, kids bday, holidays we have had the family trays at least a dozen times.
We haven't been back in at least 3 months because really the portion sizes. They are to inconsistent.
We really love this place and this is not a post to bash. It's to inform customer of what to expect. Maybe help the owners and trainers.
You still get four stars and a thank you. We will be back someday. Maybe we just went to often so we were able to see those flaws frequently. Who knows but I wish this business the best and we will be back...

The first time at this establishment. Very clean! Excellent atmosphere! Wonderful service! Delicious food! Spotless bathrooms!
Awesome bar area, lots of screens! Perfect for a gathering. I'm not sure about renting the entire bar area, but it's very cozy and inviting. Great jukebox, good place for watching a game.
We had the fried calamari rings for starters, their dipping sauce was fantastic. I had the shrimp tacos, a couple of bottles of Modelo, and a Pepsi. My wife had the guacamole bowl, which was a goodly amount, and very very tasty. Some of the best I've had. My wife also had a monstrous plate of crab legs. She was / is very happy. She also had a mojito, and water. Our server was attentive, and spoke pretty good English.
This is a Latin seafood establishment,🦞 something like you would see on an ocean front. Very pleasing! Make sure you stop in, there's a lot of crab houses and crab boil establishments, but this is definitely a step above that. And there is no possible way a place like Red lobster could possibly...
Read moreCons! Owner needs a bigger sign and one facing the road. This restaurant cannot be spotted unless you're actually trying to look for it and even then is was still somewhat of a challenge. Pricey but what sea food restaurant isn't.
Pros! Food was delicious! Loved the sauce in the sea food plater. Waitress was attentive! And nice. Raw oysters were scooped, clean and ready to eat. Food was perfectly cooked not over cooked. Food definitely had flavor. Mango 🥭 mojito seem too be good my gf had it and said it was.
Conclusion to going back? Well I spent 177 for 4 shrimp empanadas,1 shrimp cocktail, the vip sea food platter (big portion), 3 mojitos, 12 raw oysters, order of ceviche and saltine crackers,1juice and 1 orchata Yes! Definitely yes. I'll have to save up as it is sea food and pricey thats understandable. definitely felt I got my money's worth. I'd definitely recommend my friends or fam to swing by and try.
