The flavor of genuine food is non negotiable. I travel from Clovis to Lindsay, CA, to enjoy an authentic "Molcajete." I order the small molcajete because my wife never eats too much. It was more than enough for both. 1. When the stone, Molcajete cooks the nopal, chicken, steak, chorizo, and shrimps in addition to onions, garlic, chili toreado, and sensation lowering the spicy level. 3. I have to talk about the corn tortilla de maiz as a separate item because of the admirable consistency, perfect coocking time, body flexibility, and the present natural flavor to corn that will help to manage the spicy hot chili. 4. The true avocado salsa is perfect and celestial because it is 90% avocado. It is not salty, sour, or invaded by onions. 5. The porción of rice and beans are the basic ingredients to tolerate the spicy food and satisfy my appetite. 6. I enjoyed mixing a little piece of chicken, beef, jalapen̈o, nopal, and hot salsa of the Molcajete over all with rice and bean. 7. When I feel the sweet torture of the spicy chili, I take a piece of cheese and tortilla and zip of cold Coca-Cola. 8. Service: I feel that I was eating at home with my sister's. People, if you want a real Molcajete, taste this place. Let them know what you are expecting. Then, when you, like me, at the time to pay $48 dollars in total, it will be reasonable. VERY IMPORTANT! I'm returning because I know this place with the original owner. I think it was a little better for some reason, but it does not change my 5 stars. AIR CONDITIONING. It was broken at 102 degrees outside. "I never, ever, accept to eat anywhere without air conditioning. However, everyone was trying to fix it. It was not fixed. My wife knows me, and she agreed to go to any other restaurant returning home. The ladies installed fans in all directions, and I felt the weird sensation that I was between family. My body adapted the conditions, and the winds released the heat. My wife was surprised that I was happy. BATHROOMS. It was clean. No new, but it was very clean. The toilet and sink look white and shiny. I always act as a gentleman and help to keep it clean as I find it. RESTAURANT NEW OWNER. Please, work smart to get more 5 stars reviews. It is not the time to rest. It is the time to create your "personal brand.". The people should say. The new owners are better than the classic former owners. Please keep your eyes in the perfect cooking time and ingredients. Please do not lower the quality or portion. You can increase the price or negotiate better with your vendors, but your Molcajete should be treated as the king.

Food was really good and came steaming hot. Got a bucket of beer that was ice cold. Excellent place to relax and enjoy an excellent meal. Oh yeah the tortillas was fresh made and salsa was just right. Will definitely make on my list to go back.

There service is horrible. Waited 2 hours for food that tasted unpleasant and made my stomach into knots with a horrible feeling. Other people in the restaurant were leaving from how long they were taking. Not just that but the prices were overpriced for food that was maybe uncooked. They were also really rude and didn’t know how to handle customers. For example, they didn’t know what was on the Menu, they didn’t know if they had this food or that food even if it was on the menu, and their response was ā€œidkā€. If your gonna own a restaurant you should know how to run it. Other people were hungry and tired and wanted something to eat, this little kid was exhausted and hungry from how long they were taking. They had mixed orders and didn’t know which one was which. If you’re thinking of going to this restaurant think twice before going it could save you so much...

This place used to be my favorite we would drive 40 min just to go eat and have beers until I ordered a Molcajete to go and when I got to work my order was incomplete it was missing the meat along other things they add to the order. When I called I specifically told the owner the missing things he then told me he would write down my name for the next time I would go in. I went today and the owner fought me saying only the chicken was missing when that's not what I had told him anyways that's not my point the point is that it was bad customer service coming from his being the owner plus I told him so what are you trying to tell me that your going to give me a piece of chicken just like that and he said well yes. I told him no thank you keep your chicken keep your good I will never come back again all for a $25 plate that included the tip I...
