There's a new shop in town and it ain't like the rest of them. Twist is a family owned business that has recently opened right in the heart of Linwood, NJ. When you first walk in you can see the exposed machinery creating and mixing the fresh pretzel dough and the friendly faces in the back. The atmosphere has a modern take on the old school ice cream shop style. Lots of flavors and toppings to choose from including different styles of pretzels too. But wait, it doesn't end there. Breakfast sandwiches and coffee at a decent price compared to their competitors. That's right! Open in the morning. I am a huge soft serve fan and this knocks it out of the park, great thickness and richness that will stick to your ribs. The regular serving size is a perfect amount for your ice cream fill. The braided pretzel is super soft and pillowy (perfect addition to your ice cream or water ice). There is merch available to purchase such as t-shirts and hats. This shop is amazing! Everyone in my family likes a different kind of treat and they have it all. I am partial to their coffee ice cream and my family has been enjoying a number of special edition Girl Scout cookie treats! On Saturday mornings we get Egg & Avocado pretzel bun sandwiches. The service in the place is hands down the best in the area. They are teaching our local high schoolers great customer service. You might even get lucky enough to be served by the owners daughters who smile ear to ear (even when taking complicated orders).
