Waffle House — Restaurant in Lithia Springs

Poor Customer Service. Mrs. Lecia was rude. To give a more detailed experience, let me start by saying, I've lived in Douglasville for 15 years, my son and I dropped in today on our way from the gym to get some breakfast and even he noticed her attitude. So in the 15 years of being in Douglasville, I've gone to the two Waffle houses on Fairburn best experiences at both. Also the Chapel Hill location near I-20, but also the newest one near Chapel Hill Middle school. Always top tier customer service, fast service with southern hospitalit. I do love Waffle House. So this was my second or actually 3rd visit at this location all the visits until today were probably the best chain restaurant experiences with a chain I had had up till today. So let me say, so that other locations know my apprectiation, I will be reviewing them with 5 stars. I will say by the end of this visit she did send me off well and for that I appreciate it, but I just felt she was short and with major attitude. I tried to clarify the order because in previous orders at other locations, I placed the order for my son and myself and I ordered extra cheese eggs and previously at a different Waffle House was asked how many cheeses vs eggs. Primarily because that affects the price so I tried to get ahead of the game and clarify exactly how many eggs and cheeses. When I did that, it seemed to irritate the waitress as though I was correcting her but that wasn't my intention at all. I had no attitude coming into the restaurant just joy and happiness I mean I was with my son and we both had endorphins from the workout, plus we both love Waffle House. I was steaming hot by the end of this purchase, but I tried to calm down because honestly it was Christmas Time and I had no time to exude bad energy or bad behavior. So what I would say to this Woman from a consumer perspective is, Always keep a listening ear, and even if things are corrected, read off what you have for the order in as kind a manner as you can just so both parties are on the same page,but don't take there clarity as a correction maybe that person is just trying to be helpful. I typically tip pretty well no tip on this order I was that disgusted. I will return to Waffle House I can't take way from the other two visits to this location which were just as Stellar as the...

8pm my husband orders coffee were informed they're not suppose to make it after 5pm.. my unsweetened tea arrives at the table with mold floating in it. My husband steak was cold. Our beverages were neglected and we were made to feel like we were a nuisance. No words of acknowledgement spoken when we would ask for something.. dishes removed from our table were placed on the drink counter hard making a loud clang.. I have never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant before in my life ... it wasnt busy either there was only one other booth of customers.. I will never go to the waffle house on Lee rd. Off of I 20 again..... bad service is one thing but a attitude toward us like we had wronged them in some type of foul way is another. Our order wasnt right but we didnt even bother to say anything. We ate as quickly as we possibly could and rushed outta there... my mom waitresses until she was 69 yrs old so I am not critical of waitresses by no means.. it wasnt just the waitress it was the cook as well.. they both had the worst attitude of anybody I have ever encountered in a restaurant.. I did leave a tip my husband and step mom didnt think she deserved a tip but we left $3.00 anyways.. neither of those employees should be working where they interact...

Absolutely Terrible experience. Zero stars. Time of visit approx. 7:30pm, Thursday evening. Several dirty tables as we walked in. Waitress ignored us entire time. Forgot half of our order. Never got offered drink refills. Forgot to bring creamer. Never got the glass of water I ordered. Only table dining at the time. Staff complained about wanting to go home the entire time of our dinner. Cook made meals without gloves, touched raw bacon. Finally got our waffles after we had already finished the rest of our meals, only because another waiter noticed and made/ brought them to us. Waitress Never checked back, or brought us the bill. Had the audacity to ask us how everything was... 'Convienently' had no nametag to identify her, only female working, heavy set, blonde hair. Gave us a sketchy copy of a receipt, I'm sure she 'comped' stuff off our bill considering we didn't leave a tip, she didn't seem too concerned.
