Dairy Queen Store — Restaurant in Littlefield Township

I usually love DQ. In fact it's a family tradition to go there at least once a month. (Usually we go twice a week) Today however I found sprinkles in my Cotton Candy blizzard, which I know for a fact aren't supposed to be in my blizzard. I hate sprinkles, even worse though was my blizzard cup was smeared on the inside with chocolate. I am allergic to chocolate, not severely but to the point where I make a habit to avoid it, hense why I bought a Cotton Candy blizzard. When I informed them about the sprinkles and chocolate they said they could make me another one, but I'd still have sprinkles in it because recently they've been mixing the cotton candy pieces and spinkles together to make the cotton candy pieces last longer. 😐😐😐😐 Seriously??? Came back from petoskey to support a local business rather than getting something at McDonald’s, asked for no whipped cream on my malt and received whip cream, I called and very politely asked for a new one too be made. She then proceeded to tell me to scrape the whipped cream off with nothing in hand to do so in my car. Refused to replace my product and told me she will absolutely not replace the this mistake because I can “just scrape it off” I then asked for the number for the owner and she told me she was!! I work as a manager in a restaurant and I have never even thought twice about not replacing something that I messed up!! Terrible business practice. I really wanted a mint & chocolate treat. Instead of going to Kilwin's for the BEST mint chocolate chip ice cream I went to Dairy Queen and tried the Mint Oreo Blizzard. Absolutely ZERO mint taste. Not sure if that's normal or they made it wrong - but I HATE plain vanilla ice cream. I stopped getting the M&M Blizzard with chocolate ice cream because there was hardly any M&Ms until you get to the very bottom where there's like an inch and that's just kinda gross. Bad Blizzards with long lines and wait time in addition to being over priced ($7.09/medium) are enough to say so long DQ and drive an extra 5 minutes to Kilwin's, or down the road to Walmart for a Ben & Jerry's...
