China House — Restaurant in Littlestown

It's unfortunate cuz I really used to like to eat here but I keep giving it another try every once in awhile and it just isn't it's not what it used to be and it's definitely not worth the money in my opinion this time I went kind of safe and that sweet and sour combination you know it's not a difficult thing to do with shrimp pork and chicken battered and fried unfortunately it was some of the oiliest food I've ever eaten I ended up cooking it again myself in an air fryer to try and draw some of the oil out much helped but I don't think it's something I should have to do on food that I spent as much as I did on some of the food the other people got in my order while I don't remember what the names of them all were I know the one was supposed to be shrimp and veggies and some kind of sauce with noodles and while it was good that there were a lot of veggies there weren't many shrimp and or barely any noodles and it was not cheap once again I understand the price of food has gone up but their price is going up and their quality has gone down and I just it's unfortunate cuz I've been eating there since they open but I don't think I'll be going back anymore this isn't the first time that I've had poor food there but I was hoping that things would improve and they...

I highly recommend trying China House if you live near or are going through Littlestown. I got carryout lunch there for the first time today and it was very very good. The General Tso chicken was fried perfectly crispy with a sweet but not hot orange sauce. The fried rice was old school fried till brown and loaded with pork/vegis/sprouts. The eggroll was on the small side but very tasty. And my favorite- shrimp toast was top of the line. The shrimp spread was super thick on the toast and it was battered and deep fried perfectly. This place reminds me of chinese food of old. Quality ingredients prepared well. Due to Covid they have a pretty inventive setup at the front door so you don't have to go in or be face to face. I always have awful experience. Food is never ready, our chicken was raw. Order has been wrong multiple times, even when discussed and communicated over the phone ehat we wanted. When addressed we were given rude service. If orders cant be made correctly and respect given when there has been a mistake on the restaurant end, theres no need for our service.
