We drove 45 mins because we wanted some real authentic Italian food. After studying the menu we decided on a pizza & a the chicken Alfredo. Because of the last few places we have been had premade frozen pizza crust I asked just to make sure. Unfortunately the waitress was very straightforward and told us it was a premade crust despite the authentic fresh made pizza sign in the window We decided not to get a pizza , we got the chicken Alfredo and lasagna. The lasagna was actually pretty good but there wasn't any sides not even a piece of toast and the portion was pretty small. The chicken Alfredo was a little dry and could use more sauce, it was also very bland and could of had more spices it was a fair portion but still no sides not even a piece of toast? It was about $15 a plate and I left hungry unfortunately. The server was great ,very friendly and helpful She was great I believe her name was Phoebe. I wouldn't drive to eat there again but might give it another shot if they added a side to there $15 meal or decided to really make an authentic pizza with a...

Cornicello restaurant is in one of those typical small town buildings that has housed several different businesses over many years, about 50 years for this one. It is amazingly good for a "small town" business, very unassuming but friendly and really delicious. The freshly painted and lacquered tables are the same originals, at least some of them, very precious. I've wanted to try it for a long time, and finally got around to ordering spaghetti and meatballs, one order with the meat sauce, two orders with the marinara. Both were great. The meat sauce is $2 extra and worth it. The cooks insist on preparing your order only WHEN it is ordered. Cooked to order, the pasta (al dente), and the meat sauce. It's an open kitchen, and I saw them cooking the fresh chuck / sirloin (very lean meat) for the sauce, which was also fresh. Don't be in a hurry and you'll be rewarded with great quality food! Please stop by to support this business and tip as generously as you can. EDIT: Sinatra is playing softly in the background! Ya gotta go to any place...

Husband ordered spaghetti and side salad, son lasagna and I ordered chicken Alfredo. Mine and my son's food was good and hot. Husbands' spaghetti was cold and the bread didn't come out till 10 minutes after the food was served, and he had to ask for the bread. Salad had some bad lettuce in it as well, brown spots. Asked for lemon for tea twice. There were 4 other tables besides ours, so it should have been better service. Very poor service tonight. Most likely will not be back. Manager took the meal and drinks off the ticket, but did not offer a replacement (hot) meal. Husband left hungry and not happy. We've been there several times and had excellent food and service, don't know what's happened. Kitchen staff may need to better plan the timing of the meals. Still, husband left hungry...

Went just after opening. Excited for this Italian food location. There was ample parking. We were seated quickly. I do have to comment, I think seeing as how this is just starting, they are trying to get into their stride. I had Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and my wife had chicken parmesean. Both dishes were just luke warm and not hot. We had garlic knots for appetizer. I think a few were undercooked. We also ordered a pizza to go. I would say, if they added more sauce and more toppings and charged a little more, it would be well worth it. But as it was, pizza seems to taste just like others in the area. I do want to try this location again in a few months after they have been up and operating to see if things are any better. Give them a try and keep in mind they just opened.
