While making a pit stop along 90W, we stumbled into the quirky and adorable small town of Livingston. It was easy to quickly fall in love with this delightful place with all its welcoming charm. Rx Coffee and itâs baristas are a shining example of that charm. The place is decorated with funny magnets for sale, local wares like Huckleberry Jam (which we purchased), and other unique items. The baristas were friendly and talkative, chatting with us about where we are from and where we are headed, and even asking us to put a pin in their wall map of visitors. One of them told us of the grand, 3-day 4th of July parade and festivities and welcomed us back for it. We had simple double shots and an everything bagel sandwich that included bacon, egg, cheese, green chilies, cream cheese and sriracha. The coffee was good, what we needed to get going for the day. The sandwich was delicious. Omg those green chilies were good. I may have to do that at home.

Read moreI was in town visiting family & ordered lattes for take out here. Quaint little place with enough room to seat about 6 people. The coffee was pretty good - lots of flavors to choose from. They had some unique âcompounded prescriptionsâ like the Polar Bear (white chocolate & lavender). I wouldâve given five stars but I felt the staff could be more upbeat & friendly. They werenât rude, they just didnât greet us or smile the whole time. I come from a city (Billings) that is known for excellent coffee shops & where only the consistently friendly shops stay in business.
UPDATE I returned to this coffee shop a second time & have changed their rating to 5 stars because this time, the staff was friendly & welcoming! And this is what you hope for when writing reviews - that they take constructive criticism & apply it for a positive change! Keep up the good work...
Read moreSurprise coffee shop on the way into Livingston with some food options like subs, bagels and oatmeal. Decent espresso drinks and friendly staff. Small and cozy interior with an intimate seating area for about 4-6 people max, but drive through is also available. Have been here half a dozen times now over the course of the last year and every time have been impressed with the service and quality of beverages. Worth the stop even though you have to drive off the highway a little (it's super easy to continue on in either direction and meet up with I-90 again). Big rigs and semis can even park streetside nearby and be out of the way. No vegan food options as of this writing, but soymilk...
