When we walked in they were removing Halloween decorations - a nice view to have witnessed they have great taste. We were told of the story of the Giant Crab from 1960, a great conversation starter. On behalf of the food it was ok. We ordered arepas,🤷🏿 didn't look like them though, the empanadas were empty? The rice w. The lobster was actually very good (except for the shells). Nothing was labeled correctly was the issue here, what is believed to have been the arepas were good according to my fiance possibly her best dish from there. Yvette as a host was great, great personality and very efficient . She offered us a sample of the land crab to make sure we acquired the taste. I had a margarita which was part guava.. the environment was friendly & welcoming. Thank you Yvette! (If you don't order or get food prior to 8'o clock when everything closes you'll be starving.)🤦🏿

My family and I had an excellent meal here! The place looks rather simple but the food is delicious! We had mofongo with chicken, mero filet and steak, all perfectly cooked and seasoned. The panetela cake was also amazing. Very friendly and attentive service and reasonably priced. Sad they are only open during weekends!

A little on the expensive side, but the food was delicious. The service was on point whether you were bilingual or not. My taste buds were blown out of the water. Unique little spot in Loiza. I enjoyed it and made quick work of my food. I got chicken and steak mofungo. I have to go back soon.

It would have been 5 stars, l spoke at the end of our visit with Lu - mare our waitress about being more attentive to us & how it should have been handle. We arrived at 6:05 & order within 10 min. At 6:57pm 2 dishes ordered on Mero fish was told was finished. (Food was delicious no doubt!!) But unjust the time waited to be served at 7:21pm while we saw others in smaller groups being served. (6 of us) she explain about promotions being served first. We of the 3rd Generation (67 - 87) patiently waited to be served felt we were not in all respect treated fairly & timely to be notified. Me personally I would go back to give them another opportunity & come earlier to be sure to get everything on the Menu. As to my other family they will Never Ever come back. It's a shame being our first time there.

To Lu - Mare Thank you for doing your best, I appreciated what you did at the end in listening to me. Gracias

I went here looking for traditional Caldo Santo soup that is only made on Good Friday in this region. The customer service is excellent. The employees are attentive and professional. The crab pastelillo (turnover) was very good: crispy edges, tender dough and good amount of juicy stuffing. Regarding the caldo santo it was not performed as expected: it had the appeareance of curdled coconut milk, with a little piece of fish and 3 chunks of root vegetables and greasy taste. The side of coconut rice had a nice aroma but felt heavy on the grease too. We paid $15 for a 16 oz bowl of soup that that didn't resemble what we remembered...
