This past Father’s Day weekend I ordered 2.5 dozens of large crabs. I was running late picking up my crabs but called them and explained I was on my way to get them. The female who always answers the phone told me no problem. I got there soon after I made that call and my crabs were sold. As I was rightfully upset, the female at the register was so VERY RUDE to me as a customer! She yelled at me throughout my conversation with her about selling my crabs without calling me back to warn me or something. She was just nasty about the whole thing. Poor customer service!!! I wanted to fire them in the past because of the female in another incident, she is so nasty! I can’t deal with people like her. However, I continued to go there because they do have good crabs. This place was recommended to me and I was a faithful customer and made them my go to spot for crabs but not anymore. I can’t give my money to a business that talks to any customer with such disrespect! The owner was just as nasty as the woman, while they defended there mistake. They are only nice to you until you have a problem with them. Then you will get the treatment I received! I’m finding another crab spot because of their poor customer service!!! I asked one simple question, “Why don’t you answer the phone anymore? “ her response was she focus on the line outside her door (at this time there wasn’t a line appox 5 people waiting outside for their order), not the phone, and if I had a problem I can speak to the owner who was standing outside the door! As I was walking outside the store to speak to the owner, she came back to the register and started shouting at me and using profanity ! The owner then approached me to find out what the problem was and I explained to him what happened ( he didn’t seem to care). I told him he need to train his employees better customer services and they shouldn’t be using profanity towards customers. Read moreI took the route of depending on the reviews to sway me to try this establishment. I’m glad I did! As the reviews said, the grabs were juicy and flavorful. Wait time was about normal for crabs being 20-30 mins, especially when they are super busy and have orders back to back.
The young lady at the front taking and giving out orders was very nice. She has a strenuous job and she does it with ease. I’ve been looking for a crab place in my area since I moved here about 7 months ago and I’m glad I came across this gem. I will surely be ordering from them again.
